Well they indicated the Shout Select line for the remainder of the year was exciting, and we didn't get a title in June, so it would be strange if they went two months without releasing one all things considered.

I have to wonder if The Exorcist, itself, isn't a possibility. The existing release of the theatrical cut is somewhat revisionist.

+ Include the original mono track.
+ Restore the original jump cut during Karra's

scene.
+ Restore the original Warner Bros. logo.

In terms of extras:

+ Port over all the previous extras including the ones from the current Blu-Ray release as well as trailers, tv spots, commentaries etc.
+ Include all deleted scenes in full that were shot whether they have audio or not.
+ Include the full version of "The Fear Of God" documentary as it appeared when it was first broadcast on the BBC; all previous versions on home video have been cut down and shortened.
+ Include the legendary Captain Howdy makeup test; that'll be a something to see!

They could also add the newly discovered at the time test sfx footage of Regan in her bedroom that came about when the last re-issue was being released. The original unused trailers and promotional artwork as well.

Is their any evidence to suggest that Shout Select/Scream Factory still have access to further Universal titles? I'm still hoping and wishing for that Shout Select Release of Cloak & Dagger (1981).

Scream haven't announced a Universal title in a while now (last time they made a new Universal title announcement was last October I think, for February's slate). I expect there are still some Select/Shout titles left to announce, but Scream? I'm not so sure. I hope they do another deal, but there aren't many unreleased titles left (I'm hoping for Let's Kill Uncle and No Escape in particular), and the need for double-dip CE's has likely diminished since the WB deal.

Someone still needs to release a CE of Iceman (1984). I can't be the only one who wants this.

Maybe they will announce Tremors CE, Child's Play 2 CE, Child's play 3 CE, Snow White Tale of Terror, Jaws 2 CE, Killdozer, Dracula 1979 CE, Red Dragon CE, End of Days CE, Play Misty for Me CE, The Andromeda Strain 1971 CE, Faherenheit 451 CE.

Oh, I can totally see SF releasing a CE of Exorcist II, as the WB release could certainly be improved upon and it's a film that WB would have little interest in revisiting themselves.

I'm hoping that The Curse of the Cat People sells well enough for SF to tackle some of the older horror titles in the WB library from the 30s-60s. Titles like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1931 and 1941) or Doctor X, etc.

I haven't seen that movie in so many years. I remember when I was a kid it was on cable all the time, and I recall really liking it. Would love to see it again.

Campfire Tales is no longer with Warner.

If they are to announce anything further (and I mean Shout in general) they're cutting it fine, the July slate will very likely be up on Amazon before the weekend is over.
