I'd love to see them release the series of Tales from the Crypt on blu-ray with new extras, commentary and stuff.

Exorcist II and the two prequels are prime Scream Factory Collector's Edition candidates.

Heck, Scream and Warner Bros. may allow Paul Schrader to further polish Dominion for its Collector's Edition.

Warner lost the rights to the prequels some time ago, they're with Morgan Creek.

I normally don't hand out big bucks for movies or TV shows, but I might for a Tales from the Crypt release.

To make things interesting, Creepshow might well be with Arrow in the UK, given that Second Sight have lost the rights. Could be that we see editions from each company at some point (maybe they'll even co-operate on a release?)

well if shout have got a decent deal with Warner, ther'es five that seem obvious wants for me.
Nightmare on Elm Street - unrated version, and released without all the colour grading and audio issues from previous disc releases.
Elm Street 5 - unrated/complete.
Freddy's Dead - Not the best film by any means, but it would be nice to stand a chance of getting it with a proper 3D ending (and yes, I know it was shown anaglyph in cinemas).
Deadly Friend - IF there;s any chance of getting the original cut included
Return of the Living Dead Part II - If it can have it's original theatrical soundtract restored.

In the case of Elm Street 1&5, evne if they have to resort to restoring the missing footage from old SD videotapes, it's still better. 5 is a bit of a tricky one to restore though, as the Dan and Greta deaths are edited very differently between the two versions, with the R-rated actually having a couple of shots here and there not in the unrated ones, might mean having to have most of the sequences in SD.

This is one of those titles that were edited on video tape, yes? So properly transferring and restoring the series to HD would take tremendous effort and a significant financial investment. So, as much as I’d love to see The Stand on Blu-ray, I’m not going to hold out too much hope for it.

Unless I’m completely mistaken and it was finished on film.

Who's up for a End of Days CE with 2K remastering and all? or Bone Collector CE?

Well, if we are going with Stephen King stuff, what about The Night Flier?

Is this with Warner's by chance?

The Night Flier is controlled by Richard P. Rubinstein (Dawn of the Dead, Martin).
