This is a Warner property and if the licensing agreement goes on long enough seems like an easy collectors edition choice. Personally though I hope this one is a long long ways off. It's fun, no doubt about it, but there are other unreleased films and even some double dips that are in bigger need of a re-release than this.
I should've made it clear which one I was talking about. Thanks. But I don't know, this movie has gotten such a big cult following the past few years I think this should be a high priority collectors edition. Keeping fingers crossed.

I think it would do just fine sales wise, but since it already has a pretty decent individual Blu Ray I just wouldn't want to see it be made a priority right now. For me the prioritization is...

1) Unreleased Horror films
2) Horror films that were sold bare bones or as 2 movies per disc.
3) Double Dips on old films with dated masters.
4) Double Dips of modern films with ok to good transfers and decent but not great Special features (Like Trick 'r Treat).

How about Hunter's Blood on BD?

And TripleBHK, what about also BDs of previous BDs that were bareboned even of bareboned DVDs with little extras when they need more? In The Mouth of Madness should improve on that as we need deleted scenes, behind the scenes footage, see how they made the creatures, trailers, TV spots and more.

I believe the director intends to make the sequel to Trick R Treat after he finishes Godzilla; would be nice for a CE to coincide with buzz of a new film in the franchise, but we'd be talking years down the road...

Always figured that Code Red would be the one to put out Hunter's Blood (if it ever happened), and I'm pretty sure Bill has inquired about it.

i like the way you think, i enjoyed that mini-series since seeing it in the 80s as a kid and it's sequel and show spin off.

I’ve been asking for V: The Original Miniseries and V: The Final Battle for years. Hopefully Shout can get them.

Silly question but does anyone know the difference between companies like Waxwork and Mondo getting the rights to press soundtracks of horror movies and companies like Shout and Arrow getting the rights to release horror movies? I assume it would be harder for the movie companies to receive the rights for the whole production?

Also Waxwork just open pre orders for IT (1990) OST on vinyl. Can companies like this crack the vault and help other companies get their hands on rights?

Yes! I don't remember much about the TV series but the original mini-series and its sequel are great. Would love to see them on Blu-ray.

Who would love to see a CE of IT (1990) with 2-discs and extras galore from interviews, featurettes, ABC promos and all that?

I don't think that has ever happened.

Hope on the 13th and next month they will announce August titles or 1 or 2 titles for July 30th as July 30th needs one or 2 BDs.

*crosses fingers for Creepshow, IT, Salem's Lot, Road Warrior CE, End of Days, Bone Collector, Beetlejuice, Cobra, Demolition Man, Tremors, Alligator etc.

Who's up for a Salem's Lot (1979) Collector's Edition in a 2 disc set with interviews, commentaries, featurettes and trailers/TV Spots?

I'm sure they will announce never been on BD releases like Alligator in a CE which would be good and it would do good business since it's a cult fave you know. And would you be pleased if they announced Alligator?

And there are some bareboned BDs begging to have CEs with extras galore and new 2K or 4K restorations like Beetlejuice which the BD only has 2 extras and not enough, same for Cobra.

I imagine that for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake in the inevitable Scream Factory Elm Street box set, we might get ALL of the deleted/alternate scenes (such as the pool party opening, Freddy in the robe, zipper face Quentin and the various extra Freddy chasing/stalking Kris scenes).

I also think we'll get the additional Freddy vs. Jason deleted scenes and perhaps even the workprint version of Jason Goes to Hell for its respective Collector's Edition.

All that I ask for is PRIVATE PARTS (1972, Paul Bartel).

I'd also be happy to see WICKED WICKED and WELCOME TO ARROW BEACH (uncut version).
