Might be an idea to ask the Turbine rep on that thread, perhaps he could clarify things.
Has it been confirmed that this is a Sony restoration? Sony generally conducts their own restorations when they are the licensor, but Turbine mentioned that they licensed the title from Universal as Polygram's successor in interest. Sony's 25-year license (at least for that territory) had expired.

I was mistaken in thinking the title was now with Sony in Germany, hence the presumption on that front. If Turbine are involved, I can't help but think they might be sharing costs with a certain UK label, it would obviously be right up their street (and possible given it's with Universal there also).

I see someone has asked Bernard Rose on twitter, maybe he'll provide the all-important details.

Tony spilled those beans; now he needs to clarify!

If they refuse to give info about the studio, you know it has to be Scream Factory. The person who confirmed Critters to me did not say the label, and I'm quite certain it's Scream Factory. They are very secretive about unannounced properties, as we all know.

No, I'm not confusing it with SISTERS, which I also own. OBSESSION was the first Blu-ray disc that I ever purchased, primarily because it was identified as being region-free. In later years, there was some speculation that later pressings of it were no longer region-free. I don't actually know for sure, because I still have the copy I purchased on Day One.

Do all Scream Factory releases come with a poster and reversible artwork? New releases like Pyewacket too?

Usually, only collectors editions have posters. Regular releases often have reversal art, if there are alternate posters for the film.

I have the opposite opinion. Enter was a bore, Revenge has decent fight scenes (especially the last one) but also a lot of dull filler. Ninja 3 is delightfully gonzo from start to finish. It's Exorcist meets Ninja meets Flashdance, tremendously entertaining.

I feel like if Shout Factory had a deal with Fox we would have gotten The Omen IV, and collectors editions of The Fly, and The Fly II by now. I believe the existing deal has long since expired.

I would have also though we'd have seen 'Big Trouble in Little China' as well...

Phantom of the Paradise, Lake Placid, Legend of Hell House, Nosferatu the Vampyre, Doctor and the Devils, Terror Train (OOP), the double feature discs Tales From the Crypt/Vault of Horror and Bad Dreams/Visiting Hours...there's also The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai released by Shout Select.

Ok, so they had a deal with Fox (for some reason I thought Terror Train was Universal).
But that's prob long expired.

I would really like Omen 4 on blu ray, for all the bad reviews it received it is still better than Omen 3.

Last year people asked Shout if they would release the two Power Rangers movies from the 90's. Shout replied that Fox owns those titles so it wasn't up to them. So I think it's safe to assume they're not working with Fox anymore.
