I just got an email notification from Shout Factory that they are issuing me a partial refund of five dollars for my pre-order of Strait-Jacket, since that price went down for some reason or another.

That's pretty cool of them.

I can't believe I've never heard about the movie being dramatically cut before, but it makes total sense! The movie always felt almost unfinished and a waste of potential. Too bad the lost footage is probably lost to the ages...

We all speculate about titles. Someone confirmed Critters to me, whether its true or not, yet that post has not been deleted. What was it that got him banned? Bragging about trying to sabotage film announcements? Just curious. Can someone explain?

Yeah, I also just replied moments ago to a question somebody asked of me yesterday that was completely unrelated to what was going on, and I just noticed it got wiped out in the purge, too.

What do you think of the Dawn of the Dead remake by Snyder?

I think Kino might do it since they have a new paramount deal now.

Sorry about that...it was just easier to remove the entire lot. I apologize for the removal of posts unrelated to the leak.

When I get some free time, I’ll go back and review everything and place relevant posts back online .

Just out of curiosity - was it the leaks themselves that were offside? or the whole mannerism and bickering back and forth after? Doesn't matter to me, as most of those have been speculated about for weeks now.

Sticking with the Valentine sentiment, I'd definitely like to see this one released and Shout is the company to do it. Cry Wolf is another one from a similar time that also doesn't have a blu. I'm a big fan of the 90s slashers because it's when I grew up. Love the classics as well but there's something about the 90s ones that I like.

Zolly decided to basically become some kind of Blu-ray terrorist by threatening the label and then following through with his threats when his demand was not met.

I mean...we all appreciate a passion for films and for Blu-ray collecting, but come on.

He was a known troublemaker - not just on this forum. I wouldn't put too much stock into his claims of having inside info. He was just an overzealous fanboyz

I haven't seen Cry Wolf in a long time but I remember liking it. As for Valentine I'd definitely buy that one as I like it. I also didn't know stuff was cut out from it, hopefully if SF do release it they can find the footage & release it uncut.

Cry Wolf can sure use a BD release from Scream Factory and people who liked it can upgrade their DVD to get it.

Some more ideas for a Demolition Man CE BD besides interviews, featurettes (HBO vintage to new 25th anniversary retrospective) and all that, how about it in a 2-disc CE set with two cuts being the theatrical cut with same great transfer and new Director's Cut with footage never shown in the theatrical cut?

What are the odds of Grave Encounters eventually coming to Scream?

It needs a blu-ray release.

I would love to see both of these, however Demolition Man has always held a special place in my heart and I would LOVE to see some deleted footage and or a documentary.

Region Free and worth the import.

I also own this instead of the US version...

I picked up both a few years back for under $20.

Crap, my Valentine post got deleted as well :/

But again, according to the director the MPAA tammed the kills pretty badly, and apparently omitted at least one kill entirely.
Plus I remember of one deleted scene of the girls having drinks in a rooftop.

Take all his leaks with a grain of salt. They all read like every Comic con wishlist over the last 5 years using the information that we had at the time. What do we know in 2018? That Shout Factory has a deal with Sony and Warner and has purchased the Corman library. What did he predict/"leak"? Big name titles from Sony/Warner that have been brought up time and time again in a variety of contexts and wish lists.

If he really wanted to lend some credibility to his comments he needed to talk about the more obscure releases that people aren't as familiar with or are expecting as far as I'm concerned. It's easy to say Candyman is coming as we've all been saying that for years. Hell read through this thread and the Vestron thread and I've accurately predicted a few releases and their release time frames over the years (Ghoulies and The wishmaster releases being my most accurate guesses). He provided just enough big names to likely be right on at least one or two thus appearing "in the know" but in reality nothing that was posted could really be treated as anything more than just an educated guess at best.
