Holy shit, TCM 4 and Scream For Help in the same month? Two of my most wanted titles, too, can't wait.

**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCEMENT**

SCREAM FOR HELP – the 1984 thriller from Director Michael Winner (Death Wish, The Sentinel) is screaming to Blu-ray for the first time this Sept! (And if you've never seen it, you're in for a wild ride trust us.)

Terror invades an upper-class New York community as 17-year old Christie Cromwell cleverly uncovers her stepfather's horrifying plot to murder her wealthy mother. She's on to him, yet no one will believe her because she's just a kid: smart, imaginative, maybe she's just taken a crazy idea to the limit. Suspense builds when a series of shocking events confirms her worst fears. Alone, afraid and helpless, terrified Christie and her mother are held prisoner in their own home at the mercy of ruthless killers.

Extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date.

National release date is September 18th but if you pre-order directly from us we'll ship it out two weeks early!

This is the first title in a long time where I’m ridiculously excited for a Scream release. Also, it’s something that is genuinely “new” to the format as it never had a DVD release either. Gosh I am hyped. This one is a gem.

Agreed. This flick is insane and one of Winner's most entertaining. Anything will be better than the lousy VHS rip that's currently utilized for VOD, so to have it in HD with extras is a treat.

In addition to Apt Pupil, I'd love to see a release of what I think is an underrated gem that SCREAMS a Scream Factory release: April Fool's Day from 1986.

It's with Paramount so most likely not going to happen anytime soon.

My collection organization would drive people nuts. I don't arrange by studio etc. I have a giant bookcase for my horror/thriller/exploitation, a bookcase for art house/classic cinema/hollywood, and two bookcases for my anime. Studios, subgenres etc are allowed to all mingle together. The only thing is I group franchise films like the Jaws trilogy. It's a bit of a mess (I am like the guy who arranges the Amazon Prime videos, not particular strategy). It works for me but would probably drive others up a wall.

Now i can throw my old bootleg DVD in the trash and hope this is the uncut version! this is one of those obscure movies that never had a DVD or BD release but a small cult following who wants its it on BD.

Just one month to go until Comic Con where all will be revealed. We're getting a bunch of smaller but still exciting titles announced but the big guns are waiting in the wings. May as well start auctioning off vital organs now

Where did they say that? I know they said something last Thursday about announcements the following week, have they said something more recent?

We'll find out the October titles before SDCC (Scream have confirmed this). As for SDCC, it's not unreasonable to think we might see a bumper announcement this year, perhaps 15-20. They clearly have a lot of titles if they're putting out at least 7 in September.

I order most of my titles from Scream Factory, but it looks like I'm going to have to switch to Amazon on some of these. Gotta save money for the other stuff, too (especially Kino). And my Kino titles that I get from Diabolik will probably go to Amazon, too.

On a Facebook post comment for REC i believe they mentioned more to come this week.

I honestly believe we are now in the wake of bombardment of announcements. I bet we'll see two more CE's for September too. A while back SF said they had A LOT of titles coming from fall on to 2019!

Worth bearing in mind though that they could be referring to IFC titles. And when they start revealing them it usually means they're done with 'retro' announcements for the month.

Speaking of IFC titles... The Midnight Man came out today. Did anyone check it out? It looked interesting and has been one of the few IFC titles I wanted to scoop up in recent months.

I'm interested in that one as well.
