I definitely think House IV will be announced soon. Arrow released III / IV in the UK, Scream has already released III. This just makes sense, IMO.

The Arrow UK releases are region free so anyone who wants one can easily order it & the Arrow release of House 3 is better since it has the uncut version.

Last year was a little different though, since they only had 3 titles to announce (with the delay of Hell Night). Indeed, the last of the three, Dawn of the Dead, was spoiled by Amazon since Scream left it so late. I think they'll want to avoid that this time round. Also yesterday's announcement of Man in the Iron Mask suggests October's reveals are now underway.

Maybe Scream Factory can give us a better release of The Bad Seed (1956) than what Warner put out. The PQ wasn't anything to write home about.

Forgot about Pump up the Volume. Great movie!

It makes sense that we should get something today. But I'm starting to feel like these will be Twilight Time redo releases: Night of the Living Dead 90, Fright Night, the Blob... These don't interest me. They already have great Blu-ray releases. We're also about to find out if that Scream Factory "insider" guy had any legitimate info...

Don't forget the remaining Carpenter titles under the WB/Sony label (Vampires, Ghosts of Mars etc). You can bet your skin they'll all get CEs which will be basically reissues of what we already have with a few new interviews.

Yeah I have to agree, the prospect of various Twilight Time releases holds no real interest to me whatsoever, NOTLD 90 notwithstanding (there are certainly ways Scream could improve upon the existing release). But in the main, Sony's releases generally look great and most of them are from 4K restorations anyway. Moreover, the TT releases came with some decent extras (and Eureka's region free Fright Night is positively stacked). Hopefully they at least stagger these rather than drop 2-3 in the same month.

Hopefully October's schedule has a nice balance to it, something like this say:

Box set (Critters or Stepfather Trilogy)
Sony TT double dip (as above)
Warner Bros double dip (let's say Lost Boys)
New-to-Blu CE (Sony, Warner, independent title, take your pick)
New-to-Blu standard release (or double feature) (the Corman titles could also come into play here, but I'd love a double feature of Dracula AD 1972 and Satanic Rites of Dracula)

This is probably very close to what will happen. That Sorority House Massacre 2/Hard to Die release that Wynorski already leaked is bound to show up for October...

Some guy that said he had insider information, and was threatening SF with releasing it if they didn't release a Power Ranger film (or something to that nature). I forget what the titles were, but mostly TT/Sony double dips. No NoES box, nothing really spectacular or groundbreaking. His posts were later deleted by admins.

And I hope they officially announce that Sorority House Massacre II/Hard to Die double feature today, so I can buy it TODAY.

I wouldn't be surprised if Communion and Single White Female show up...

My predictions

Some Corman reissues and 1 or 2 premieres. There were some Corman titles SF never got around to before the line ran out of steam
The Hot Box
Twice Dead
Grotesque

1 or 2 Universal titles
Tremors CE
I wouldn't put it past SF to reissue select earlier Universal pickups with fresh scans, particularly John Carpenter stuff. Weren't They Live and Prince of Darkness problematic in some way?

Some Columbia titles for the Shout Select line
The Principal
Starman
When A Stranger Calls. This one screams (no pun intended) for CE treatment
The Deep. I'd love to see the 3-hour TV edit.

Warner
The usual suspects: He Knows You're Alone, Xtro, Deadly Friend, The Hand, NoES box set, Critters Collection, etc.

The Principal would be great. Seems like Belushi is seeing a bit of a popularity resurgence with Taking Care of Business, Mr. Destiny, Retroactive, and Once Upon a Crime coming to Blu from Kino. Principal is one of his best films, so hopefully that joins the others.
