I am excited to hear what's coming.

I would love some Carnosaur action. Preferably all of the films in one set. Maybe they can interview Diane Ladd and ask her about how while her daughter was starring in the big ol' Spielberg dino pic, she had the luxury of working with her old friend Roger Corman. Dinosaurs for days.

The chance of Rad getting a Shout Select release are slim, since (according to one of the actors in the film, Bill Allen) Talia Shire owns the rights to the film and has zero intention of letting someone release it.

This is correct. Multiple companies have tried. Talia Shire and Jason Schwartzman own it and (for whatever reason) will not license it to anyone.

That almost sounds like Gregory Peck and Moby Dick. He owned the rights to the film for a long time and wouldn't let anybody at it because he found his performance in the film embarrassing (which it's not but he was entitled to his opinion about himself).

I'm for all of the predictions I've read in this thread, and would be happy to have any of them. I'm not going to make a prediction but more like an "I wish" selection. Aside from a Nightmare boxset and a Freddy's Nightmares DVD release, what I would truly wish for was a Tales From The Crypt: Complete Series remastered set for Blu-Ray. It needs to happen, Shout needs to make it happen. It would be far less work than it took to make Star Trek: TNG happen, and I believe it should be done so the series will not be lost to time (the series is not streaming anywhere either, far as I know.)

Yes Crypt needs a 30th anniversary blu-ray set.

Not likely since they won't be announcing release dates tonight.

I’m a little scared of how this thread is going to be after they announce this evening... I feel like a lot of folks have some REALLY high expectations.

Scream Factory has set expectations high with a number of comments. Then they tried backtracking a little (probably after reading this thread), but it's without question that they have obtained a high number of titles from both Warner and Sony, so I'm willing to bet 90% of the folks on this board will be pleased--not necessarily impressed--with something. Then there's those who shit on everything just to shit on it, because that's the kind of miserable people they are. But being that this is a forum for cinephiles and Blu-ray collectors, I'm pretty sure most people are looking forward to the announcements. Despite the inevitable double-dips, chances are high they have some good titles.

The trick is to set your expectations to Garbage Pail Kids levels and work your way up from there. That way no one's blood pressure will go up.

Is Garbage Pail Kids Scream Factory's lowest point? I still have a hard time wrapping my mind around Teen Wolf Too as a CE, but, you gotta do what you gotta do, I suppose...

That, or Eve of Destruction, which I believe was also announced at a Comic Con.

It'll likely look exactly the same as it does every year following comic-con. Mostly disappointed, the random guy who claims that this is exactly what he wanted, a few people that try to see the silver lining by highlighting the one or two positive releases that were announced, and everyone else moving on to talk about future what if scenarios and or other issues such as the lack of pre-order locations for titles.

The secret to not hyping yourself and being disappointed is having no expectations.

Like, if they just announced one single new release CE, for let's say, Alligator, I'd be satisfied. There's already so many releases floating around that I still need to get that anything being added to my blu-ray purchase queue is gravy at this point.
