It wasn't a CE

Can't imagine it would ever receive that treatment either. Or at least I would have said that, because post-Ninja III who really knows

I'd be very surprised if it sold well enough to warrant an upgrade, even if they were able to access the uncut European version of the film this time around.

Yup, this sounds about right.

All I want is for Shout to finally bring us The Witches (1990) and I’ll be thrilled.

I enjoy them, but I've got to agree. Giant shark eating people? Stay the hell out of the water. Problem solved.

I'm told that on their Facebook page they described it as:

I would actually break my own rule and preorder directly from Shout if they announced this. Don't care if it be Scream, Select or Standard Shout.

The Second Sight release of Xtro is great & it's region free. The Arrow Video UK BDs of House 3 & 4 are also region free.

I'm still hoping for PRIVATE PARTS (1972). It might fall into the "weird oldies" category (BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE, BLOOD AND LACE, THE HOUSE THAT SCREAMED, etc.).

I wrote a 12-page term paper on Citizen Kane back in college. Just thinking about the notes I had to take to write that paper is scarier than anything Scream can release :P

Some tragic news, Jon Schnepp has passed away from a stroke. Schnepp directed many episodes of the excellent Metalocalypse cartoon series, and wrote Slayer's recent Repentless comic. Comic book nerds might recognize him as the guy who did The Death of “Superman Lives”: What Happened? based on the 90s Superman movie that never was with Tim Burton, Kevin Smith and Nicolas Cage.

Aside from Metalocalypse, Schnepp has worked in some capacity with everything from Ferris Bueller's Day Off (as an actor) and Aqua Teen Hunger Force. He also appeared as an extra in Iron Maiden's "Be Quick or Be Dead" and Metallica's "The Memory Remains" music videos.

RIP, Dethklok was great, man -RS-

To get on-topic, I'd like the entire series of Dethklok on Blu. In one Metal package.
