I noticed several months (maybe even a year or more) ago that I stopped getting EMAIL tracking numbers from Shout/Scream, BUT if I go into my account and look at the details of my order number, a tracking number shows up there whenever part of it ships. Dunno why the email alerts stopped but...

It’s part of a large order from the sale last week. I don’t have an account so i can’t see the history unfortunately. Have always received tracking before though.

I'm expecting a delivery from Shout on Saturday. My order consisted of Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Someone's Watching Me, Critters, and Candyman. I assume Memoirs is in the mail, but I'm just hoping Someone's Watching Me is, as well.

I still can't believe Starman is getting its CE due. Will be a solid addition to my almost complete Carpenter collection. I'm scared to pull the trigger on Big Trouble since there's always been talks of a re-release with a better/updated transfer (If I'm not mistaken). But re-assessing Arrow's release that may be the best option, but I do like the whole Scream/Shout uniformity of JC releases. Oh, darn...there's that collector's OCD again.

I've gotten lucky so far. Everything that I've ordered years after release from Scream or manufacured by Scream has still had the slipcover with it. If it's an important film to me though I always preorder directly from them now just to be safe.

Having the new commissioned art on the slip and the original poster art on the case is my favourite part of having a slipcase for each movie. I also got into SF about 3ish years ago now and I had a blast hunting for each CE with the slip! I got pretty lucky with scouring all the HMV's in my town.

Nearly found them all except Lifeforce, Day of the Dead and Night of the Comet which i got off eBay for fair prices.

Anyone else have all the slip cases for the CE's? Just thinking about selling them all in a big lot on eBay makes me though..

I missed the slip on Assault on Precinct 13, which was the only Carpenter flick that I was missing a slip on. At some point I had to tell myself "It's just cardboard, it doesn't matter!"

Then, when they announced the SB's, I sold all of my Carpenters with slips so I could buy the steels. Now I have the steels...and wish I had the slipcovered regular discs back. I just don't like the art on the steels that much. Should have kept what I had. Oh well.

just out of curiosity, which ones in particular? The initial batch was take it or leave it to me (They Live, The Fog, etc) but the recent ones I really like!

Prince Of Darkness, Assault On Precinct 13, The Howling, Halloween II are especially awesome imo...

I have all of them, too. But if I had black cases to put them in, and flipped them around to the original artwork, I'd consider selling all of them as a lot.

Casetopia currently sells the UHD black cases for .61 each for orders of 1-99. I'm sure with a bit of elbow Grease and some nail polish remover (or similar chemical compound) the UHD logo could be removed. Not ideal, but the cases do not have holes in them the way many viva elite black BD cases do, and the price tag is likely much cheaper per case than what a black BD case would be. Certainly an idea worth considering.

I bought some used ones off a guy on ebay who I think may still sell. He had all sorts of colors. Picked up some orange ones for Halloween based movies, some black ones and a couple red ones for Christmas Horror.

did you mean a newer scan or steelbook? The Burning already has a collector's edition release.

Arrow Video has Hellraiser parts 1-3 so those won't be happening. The other Hellraiser films might be a possibility but not sure who has them. Vestron Video already released Warlock in a trilogy collection so that one won't be happening either. Return to Oz is Disney & was released as a Disney Movie Club exclusive.

4K remastered steelbook of Burning be cool, Arrow has Hellraiser films. Watchers i think Lionsgate might do.

Warlock is done by Vestron already! Elm Street might happen next year for the 35th anniversary.
