Watched my copy of The Unborn twice already. Such an obscure gem with good solid performances by everyone involved. Gary Numan’s score is one of the best I’ve heard and it really helps carry this film till the end. Disc is extremely light on extras with only a commentary and trailer but the overall new transfer is great. This is by far one of my favorite releases by Scream this year.

Loved the release of the Unborn; that Gary Numan score is awesome. I got shipping on Someone's Watching Me, but now I'm really starting to anticipate Brainscan, which is coming this month. So stoked for Brainscan.

Good to hear on SWM! I’m with you on Brainscan that is my most anticipated release this month, hopefully no delays with such luck we should have our copy by next weekend. Now I’m waiting on shipping for Strait-Jacket which was charged on Monday.

I got my copy in the mail too! i enjoyed that movie since i saw it on video as a kid and quite an interesting sci-fi horror film in the tradition of David Cronenberg especially The Brood, It's Alive and Island of Dr Moreau eh?

The movie looks great on BD.

I got Someone's Watching me and it has one of the best restorations to a TV movie i've ever seen on BD! worth it for Carpenter fans. Brainscan is also coming to me soon from Scream as well which i've been looking forward to as well.

Didn't know Gary Numan was behind the score. Might check this one out after all.

Yeah, we all know how that film turned out so it's silly to talk about it as some sort of classic, but Jeff should keep in mind they're doing a 2 disc CE for people who somehow appreciate this film, so to sit and listen the actress mock the film for 20 mins is a little...weird for a release that's supposed to celebrate the film.
Plus Blair seemed like a real brat on set. Always late, complaining about doing tap dances for her character. You're in a John Boorman film and you're not even 20. Be grateful

Maybe not the mocking aspect, but in several recent interviews with Joe Bob Briggs, he talks about the time she was a guest on MonsterVision, and she pretty much had a crap attitude talking about anything EXCORCIST related, and it was "like pulling teeth" to get her to actually discuss that period of her career in general.

I feel like some of the disdain has to do with almost dying on the set. When the director nearly pushes you off a building for a shot, I can understand not being "grateful".

Also, with Blair, its not a disdain for her smaller work. She loves Savage Streets, apparently.

Blair was, most definitely, not on her best behavior on Exorcist II according to Boorman's autobiography. Whether or not she acknowledges that in this interview is the question.

Glad to see Jeff acknowledge the interest in The Weinstein Company catalog. I would kill for a Blu-ray of Eden Lake. Even It Follows could use some more extras, and I would absolutely buy a Scream Factory edition of All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. I know the catalog is very much in limbo right now though.

Agree with All the Boys Love Mandy Lane for sure. Mentioned this one a while back. Watched it on Netflix with 0 expectations and was actually pleasantly surprised. Would definitely like to see this one blu. Anyone know of any other good titles locked down there?

Didn't know about the near death experience. Anyway, if she's sour about the whole experience or that experience in particular, don't do an interview in a CE of the film that's targeting fans. It just doesn't resonate well with me.

About the disdain for smaller work I wasn't talking about Blair in particular but the attitude in general. I'd hardly consider Exorcist II smaller work, especially compared to the rest of her filmography.
