They weren't in the process of launching there own streaming service at the time. I wouldn't rule out that it's possible for Fox to be run as it's own business to begin with post merger and that some of the older properties could eventually trickle out, but it's a given that Disney won't be signing license agreements until they have thoroughly examined all the properties in the Fox catalog to determine what they can use to maximize interest and profit themselves and even then I'd be willing to bet that these films are used as leverage to convince people to sign up for the streaming service.

I'm not sure they still send those out. To receive the current status of your order, your best bet is to log in to your account and click on the order details. That will be updated with a tracking number when the items have shipped.

I ordered my copy on a Saturday also & it didn't ship until the following Thursday or Friday so yours should go out in the next few days. They aren't as fast with shipping anymore, at least in my case. They used to ship things out much faster.

Was at my local Wally today and IDK if this has been mentioned before but, incase anyone is interested there is a SF Misery/Carrie release now like The Fog/The Howling & the 2 Jeepers Creepers films. Thought I'd let everyone know there was 3 copies of Vincent Price Collection II there also.

I believe those double feature releases are devoid of all special features.

They've continued to be more supportive of TV series. Such as producing Once Upon a Time Blu-ray's in the US, with the final S7 arriving next week.

And some other shows, like Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

Overseas they continue to release more Marvel series, like Agents of Shield and the second season of Agent Carter.

In the US they've also allowed some of their shows to be licensed on DVD to Mill Creek, such as The Astronaut Wives Club and Secrets and Lies S1. Obviously that's not as good as Blu-ray releases, but I suppose it was an experiment and those were physical releases still.

I was looking at the theaters the will be playing the Fog, and "limited release" is an overstatement. It'll definitely be tough for most people to see it, but those in a location where it's playing should have a blast.

I actually just bought the previous steelbook last week, so the timing is unfortunate. However if I just sat around waiting for better releases to come along, I'd never buy anything.

I'm not sure that's still accurate. I placed an order back in April, and as of today, the order is still not listed under the My Orders list.

There is a package that is being sent to me from Louisville, Kentucky, but I don't know if that is the Shout Factory package or not. Shout has not sent me a shipping notice. I'm not expecting any other packages at present.

This order is for THE TINGLER and STRAIGHT-JACKET. They first charged my credit card on July 31, but the charge wasn't actually subtracted from my credit card. Then, on August 6th, my credit card was again "charged," but the funds still haven't been subtracted from my bank account.

Right now, I'm not very happy with their "customer service." I wrote them an email letter last week, which I submitted directly to them from their own website. The site states that somebody will get back to me "within 24 or 48 hours," but a week later, nobody has gotten back to me.

I'm not sure that I'll order from them in the future.

UPDATE: They finally confirmed my order and added it to the "My Orders" section tonight. I'm not sure why it took this long, but Shout finally responded.

Well, 11 cities so far and it says they may add more. Lets hope.

I have it as well. It might be quite a while before they actually release The Fog in 4K on home media anyway. Besides I really like the art and unless they improve on that I might stick the 4K in it.

I've come to really like when releases have new interviews makes it more exciting... here's what I'm hoping for...

House on Haunted Hill: new interview with actress Bridgett Wilson

Creepshow: A new interview with actress Elizabeth Reagan (the girl in father's day segment)

Sleepwalkers: I'd looove an interview from actress Madchrn Amick

Urban Legend: Interviews with actress Natasha Gregson Wagner ( the girl in the beginning), Rebecca Gayheart, and Alicia Witt

The Craft: Christine Taylor, Neve Campbell, and Fairuza Balk

Silent Night Deadly Night 2: any interviews would make this worth buying

And the rest I dont care about lol

New interviews & other interesting special features are what gets me to buy the double dips. Anything else is just a bonus. That and I like being able to replace my regular copies with SF versions.
