With The Fog, Prince of Darkness, Escape from New York, and They Live all coming out with new 4k masters and UHD/BD releases in the UK, will Shout have anything comparable in the pipeline? I would rather wait for upgrades from Shout, but those SC sets look nice.

Doubt it, Shout hasn’t released any studio pictures on UHD. They are Region A only and since UHD is region free it’s probably a big reason they haven’t put out UHDs.

I just realized me pre-order for Creepshow and Trick 'R Treat doesn't appear on my "orders" page at the Shout website.

And I didn't keep the notification e-mail either. Any way I can contact SF to make sure my order was taken without it?

I ordered three Shout titles on Amazon Canada. I received email confirmations as usual but last night I go to My Orders to cancel one and it shows I have zero orders. WTF? Anyone experience anything as screwy as this? I've now ordered two of the titles elsewhere and don't want to receive duplicate orders. How can I cancel an order that doesn't exist? LOL

In general I would imagine labels like Shout are just waiting for UHD to have a larger install-base before they jump in. Not sure which you're talking about. I pre-ordered Candyman and House on Haunted Hill. Both are still showing. Also ordered Tales from the Hood a week or two ago and it was delivered. Still shows under my orders though. Silly question, but are you logged into the right account? If you have multiple or someone else logged in?

I'd add that a company like Shout may not have UHD rights to the big(ger) titles (the ones that people want and would likely sell on UHD) that they have released on Blu-ray.

Just checked my Paypal account, and found that I did send payment to SF back in July. I hope they didn't lose my order somehow.

I would be happy if they would just do rescans and issue them on blu-ray. The Fog looks okay. Prince of Darkness and They Live are not great. Plus there was the uproar over the IP scan on EFNY, so I can understand if they don't want to go back to that well. I will likely wait on some reviews of the SC sets before deciding whether or not to purchase.

Scream Factory did mention 4K UHDs on their 2017 panel IIRC, but haven’t released any yet. I believe they did mention on the recent ShockWaves podcast that they are hard to license for because of region clearances.
