Unfortunately for the time being yes there is only 1 left in North America, who unfortunately will be prioritizing major studios before the boutique labels as there is where a majority of their profit comes from. Hopefully someone will open another one in a couple of years. I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to find big enough client base if you have the experience and collateral...

Here’s what I don’t understand. Where I live in New Jersey, there is a giant media replication facility called Disc Makers. They do everything from cd’s, dvd’s And blu Ray in large volume. I can’t believe the Shout Factory story that only one plant exists anymore when clearly Disc Makers exists 5 minutes from my home.

It seems like Scream is taking massive cost cutting measure lately while trying to maximize profits by forcing customers to buy exclusively through them.

Has it affected anyone else? I haven't heard other labels say anything.

SF said they are trying to keep their original street dates, while other companies are pushing back release dates. This seems to be true, Arrows 12 Monkeys got pushed back a couple weeks, The Shield Series a month, etc.

I mean other companies saying things. Not SF saying other companies are doing this and this. Arrow only having an issue with 1 title just sounds like that title, and The Shield should be at the 1 giant plant.

Mill Creek posted on their Facebook page about replicator issues and included a list of revised street dates for quite a few of their upcoming releases.

Companies pushing back release dates is proof enough. Other companies aren’t as open as Shout, major labels are just going to push rates back they aren’t going to tell us why.

Besides, Arrow titles always seem to be chronically delayed. The Mill Creek Nightwing/Shadow of the Hawk has been delayed twice, though. I'm just going to add two weeks to every indy label street date from now on.

pressing plant and delay is the reason why I never put a street date

Weird speculation here:

Looking at the Amazon.ca Halloween sale, im seeing a TON of Warner Bros titles on sale. BeetleJuice, Poltergeist, Nightmare on Elm blu boxset, Trick r' Treat, Salems Lot, Gremlins, The Exorcist, Lost Boys, IT and Thirteen Ghosts.

Do you think Warner Bros is just heavily involved with this sale OR could this be one last push on old editions before Scream Factory releases some of these titles?

Also the new Urban Legend special features mention a new 8 part documentary with interviews from numerous people including Robert Englund... A Nightmare on Elm Street boxset could be in the making.

Lastly, Scream Factory replied to a Facebook comment asking when The Craft is coming.

"The Craft is currently planned for a March release"

UHD or bust. Most of those are fairly low priced, common, easy to sell horror titles anyway.

Hey, just fyi, the NOES collection has been $24.99 for months, they jacked it up to $29.99 a couple weeks ago for the Halloween ''sale''.

Which at least means we'll be getting a raft of new announcements around Halloween if January's line-up was anything to go by.

Yes. Warner is most likely trying to squeeze the last dollars from them.. before they go to scream.. and I can definitely see all those coming from them.. I mean besides trick r treat since it's already done.

I have the same speculation about Deep Blue Sea right now. I believe it’s Warner and I could see Shout releasing it down the line. Not necessarily Scream but somewhere on their label. It does check off a few “horror” boxes though.

Also an interview with Jessica Cauffiel in the sequel, who's also in Valentine
