The steelbooks were all each wrapped in HEAVY brown paper with even more heavy brown paper crinkled inside each box to limit shifting.

Everything arrived very quickly with Priority Shipping and everything (posters and lithographs included) was in absolute pristine condition.

Maybe this is a sign of good things to come?
The problem seems to be with new releases. The three movies you ordered are older titles so they were probably already packed and ready to go.

My Creepshow came today. Thats a day 1 non prime order from Amazon.ca. 30$(23USD) with free shipping! OH how silly of me I read your comment wrong.

Scream Factory sucks! I want the prices of a 2012 market for a 2018 streaming society today! How dare Shout! be good to us for the last 6 years and then adjust their prices so they can keep doing what they do!

Any more Empire Pictures titles in the works? I know there's been issues with locating elements for Arena, and apparently Enemy Territory has music rights to address, but how about the others?

I’m guessing they mean that 9-5 is when they answer customer emails. I don’t think they have a phone number to reach customer service. I just use their contact form.

Quick question I just got the $10 coupon from the shoctober sale emailed to me but when I went to use it on ordering a couple upcoming releases and doesn’t seem to work, do coupons not usually work on preorders?

Unless there is a mistake in the computer system, coupons are never valid on pre-orders.

Thanks! I've just read a lot of comments/complaints about SF and was cautiously optimistic, I guess.

Received this in the body of a Halloween marketing email from them this afternoon:

We want you to know that we hear you regarding the order and customer service delays you have recently been experiencing.

Over the summer, there was an industry-wide upheaval in the disc manufacturing process due to the shutdown of the last major U.S. disc manufacturing plant. Consequently, disc production has now been consolidated at a single plant in Mexico. This supply chain bottleneck has prevented us from shipping to you on our forecasted dates. We are working to get the schedule normalized and are adding staff in our customer service department and our warehouses while we experience these delays. If you have sent a question or concern to info@shoutfactory.com please be assured that they have received it and are trying their best to respond to an unprecedented number of requests.

We sincerely apologize for the disruption. Please continue to bear with us as we get through this chaotic time. It’s our top priority to get back to delivering product on promised dates and restoring our standard customer service turnaround time. Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Alas, no phone number in the email.

How long is your coupon good for? I know some of them have had fairly short shelf lives.

Send them a direct message on Twitter. It doesn't go to Customer Service, but they seemingly correspond with them. I've had much better luck with that than with emailing.

For example, I sent a message that way today and asked why my Creepshow had still not gone anywhere, and I got a response in a few minutes.

Given the amount of shit they are taking now on pretty much every post here on this forum as well as on facebook, I feel like the response time on Twitter will likely be decreasing in the near future. Previously public complaints on social media were taken seriously by folks for fear that a single bad experience would scare off customers... with the sheer volume of negative comments flooding them from most avenues these days I can't imagine they will continue to be as quick to respond as they once were.

Yelp has a listed number. I don't want to post it here though. Bloomberg as well...

I am 110% with you on a SF CE of Blair Witch! That flick scared the hell out of me when I saw it in original release in the theater. Seriously, I didn't get a full night's sleep for like a week. Or more. And as another member mentioned, I would love to see a Blair Witch 2 CE to make its debut on US blu.

I have to admit that, not being a fan of horror anthologies and having a special kind of hate for horror/comedy, I could not care any less about Creepshow or a few of their other titles, but I appreciate what SF does, and I sure hope that all the hate doesn't cause them to just take their money and go home. With the shipshod DVD quality and/or lack of any blu-ray release of so many catalog titles, I would love to see SF continue doing what they do without being picked totally to death with the "OMFG!!!! Did you see the cap of the scene at 1:04:15 where it looked to me like the actor's mouth did not synch up to the audio for almost 4/10 of a second??? Holy f***! They need to fix this travesty, and I need a replacement disc!!!" hate.

Anyhoo...I digress.

Would also very much love to see SF release "Dogs,"

"Rattlers,"

and even the title I blinked and missed:

"Ticks."

I’ve been trying to play catch-up with the thread as a friend told me a couple of weeks ago about the scratch issues with Trick r’ Treat. A lot of things came up after that and I finally got around to opening my copy and sure enough, tons of little scratches.

Do I need to worry about other titles such as the two Halloween Steelbooks?
