The work they did on Xtro and The Changeling is top notch and this is going to follow that same model which means the LE will likely sell out before the end of the year. Go grab that release if you are even remotely interested.
Is it the UK edition? If so I think I preordered from Amazon UK. Is there a link to a list of American horror titles released in other countries on blu ray but not in the US?

I know. I'm both elated and annoyed. Elated because as a Region A-er, I can now purchase it, and annoyed because... Well, now I have to purchase it.

Preordered! Thanks, Trip!

This somehow flew under my radar, I never saw the announcement for it. Now I have to get rid of the Mill Creek combo (with Happy Birthday To Me) because I don't like having only half a set in use (Strange quirk we collectors have.) Anyone know if the Happy Birthday To Me release from Indicator is an improvement over the Mill Creek release? PQ or sound wise? I know it has extras that the other doesn't.

I think pretty much everything is an improvement over Mill Creek, but the extras to me aren't that great for Indicator. I have the Mill Creek version and can only speak for it. I think it looks great. I love the retro slipcover, and for $7 I'm 100% happy.

It's 100% an upgrade in EVERY single sense you can imagine, It's a flawless release. Buy it!

Thanks, guys. I always thought the PQ was very good on the Mill Creek release, especially considering it was from Mill Creek. But I am going with the Indicator release, it just seems logical. More logical than buying the solo re-release which I assume will be the same disc just packaged in the VHS-style cases.

I'm referring to the solo re-release. It's same scan, higher bitrate.

Oh, I should have gathered that when you mentioned "retro slipcover." The cheaper price point of the new solo release is good draw. Guess I have some deciding to do. Thanks.

The price point is what it's all about for me. $30 on a double dip is hard to swallow unless it's a new 2K or 4K scan.

I haven't checked recently in regards to what the current price is but my pre-order with amazon.co.uk is locked in at £18.07 (£14.99 for the title itself) which at the moment is right around $23 shipped. Remember that if you order from the US VAT fee's fall off the listed purchase price (before then adding on the cost of shipping).

If it helps, Indicator’s release has the original mono track whereas Mill Creek strictly the remix.

It’s looking like Vinegar Syndrome is getting the cash I have set aside next week.

Stop tempting me. $23 is much better. I was just seeing $27 at Diabolik plus $5 for shipping.

It's actually $20 for me, and that was with paying $3 shipping. My prime doesn't carry over to them I guess. Oh well, ordered. I think I'll throw the MC slipcover on it though!

I realized that I've neglected them for way to long this last week. My November funds are pretty much already all spoken for but in December and January I plan to pick up some titles. I don't know yet if I can swing the Black Friday sale but even if I can't I'm ok with just getting a few here and a few there as I find prices I like elsewhere. I created a list on Monday and think I have around 13 titles I want to get.

doubt that MC slip is going to fit. I'm pretty sure the SS release is a box release

Hmmmm. I'll wait till it gets here to see what I want to do.

These are the double dips I've been wanting to avoid with black Friday on the horizon!
