Yep, also had to throw down on Urban Legend at that price. Had a $3 off promo, so $15 and some change for me

I could have sworn that Shout announced My Cousin Vinny. But I can't find it anywhere. Am I going crazy?? Did I just imagine it?

A part of me thinks the Elm Street franchise would be too big for WB to license out (not to mention I do think the current box set IS pretty good), but it wouldn't be the first time I'd be wrong on that front (I didn't expect Fox to license Donnie Darko to Arrow in the US at all; I fully expected that to stay a UK exclusive).

And, I'd likely order it as well, especially if, as darkness said, it was similar to the Deluxe Halloween set. This is despite me already having the current box set autographed by Tina and Nancy's mom. I mean, what better reason would there be for Sean Clark to FINALLY do an episode on NOES 2?

Gremlins, again, seems like one of those titles that's too "big" in Warner's eyes to be licensed out, but never say never, I guess. I've been getting into the HHG episodes a lot more, ever since I took part in the live one for Halloween 1, 2 and 3 two months ago (I didn't realize how many of them I already had on disc; the only one I don't have on disc is the Session 9 episode), and that would be one I'd like to watch.

Pulled the trigger on Urban Legend at that extraordinarily low price, which is probably a glitch lol. By the way, has Shout released any Sony titles that contained Shout remasters or have ALL the scans been provided by Sony? I typically don't double dip just for extras so I guess I won't be buying many Sony double dips unless it's a major upgrade, like Piranha II. I should've kept my Aussie import of The Seventh Sign since it was from the same master.

I do not know, but I just bought both of them. Got Urban Legend for $16.61 after using the 5% coupon.

Used some cash back to get Urban Legends. That's one I've been wavering on.

I picked up
Creepshow
The Thing steelbook
Halloween 2 steelbook
Candyman
Critters
Urban Legend

They have some titles I’m interested in next year but will be waiting for a (significant) sale or prices to drop. I’m not interested in spending 30+ for a lot of those.

Same here. There are also a number of older titles that I'm waiting to find for a bit less. Poltergeist II and III continue to annoy the shit out of me that they can't catch a $3 sale. $19.99 is my double dip price on those two. I missed them on Hamilton Books last year (or was it the year before?) when they were priced at $17.99. I've been kicking myself ever since.

This is the quietest year more me for Scream Factory since they began. Not because there aren't many others I want, but because of the prices and distribution issues.

January
Dance Macabre

February
Drag Me To Hell

May
It's Alive Trilogy

July
In The Mouth of Madness
Memoirs of an Invisible Man

August
Someone's Watching Me
Return of the Living Dead Part II

October
House on Haunted Hill
Trick 'R Treat
Creepshow

November
The Thing (Steelbook)
Urban Legend
Urban Legends: Final Cut

December
Starman

If we're talking strictly 2018 releases...

The Burbs
Candyman
Hell Night
The House That Dripped Blood
In The Mouth Of Madness
Matinee
Night Of The Demons Steelbook (Figure/poster bundle)
Ninja 3: The Domination - Collector's Edition
Return of the Living Dead Part 2
Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2 (Figure/poster bundle)
The Thing Steelbook (on it's way from Amazon)

Got most of those for $20 or under, too. The only ones I paid big $ for were the bundles. The SDCC sale helped me out alot.. that, and just playing the waiting game. I refuse to pay more than $25 for their regular/collector's editions.

Still need to get/waiting on decent prices for...

Creepshow !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Critters set
Dracula: Prince Of Darkness
Drag Me To Hell (maybe...)
Halloween 3 Steelbook (maybe...)
REC Collection
Starman
Trick R Treat (maybe...)

Just be aware its a BD-R.
I just watched it last night via Netflix BD rental. Was very impressed with it. Reminded me of Stranger Things with all the early 80’s nods. I was surprised when it displayed a BD-R, but didn’t mind.
This will be added to my collection without a doubt.

The only 2018 releases that I’ve bought this year are Hell Night and the It’s Alive Trilogy. I got a few more this year, but they were 2017 releases.

Shouldn’t have to worry about the price for time being. Going to see if I can nab the German retro VHS LE, if it ever drops to a more reasonable price...or if some other country receives a nice steelbook.

I'd happily double dip on that German edition as well if it ever has a more palatable price. As things stand right now, the BD-R is better than nothing and what I am content with.
