Agreed.

The Brain was the movie riffed for the live MST3K tour this past year, and even though I doubt it'll happen, I hope a taping of the show gets included on that Blu-Ray too.

to be fair though, sometimes the stars don't want to talk or scheduling conflicts prevent interviews. sometimes both.

but agree 1000000%. I would rather have new to blu titles than just reissues. I love arrow and blue underground, but I hate that they've released a lot of stuff I already have.

do I need two copies each of bird with the crystal plumage, torso, strip nude for your killer, cat of nine tails, crimson peak, zombie, maniac, city of the living dead...

plus, there have been a lot of great titles that I discovered have never seen them before. night train murders, contamination, any of these giallo sets...

bring us new stuff.

It is in the dedicated Poison Ivy Collection thread, but it does not appear to have made it to this thread. Specs have gone up and there is no mention of 4:3 transfers for any of the films and the unrated versions are going to splice in standard def inserts.

Is there any chance Scream will release The Thing That Couldn't Die? Kino has no plans to release it, and I wonder if perhaps Scream will. It'd be nice to get this one on Blu-ray.

I'd rather have lovely remasters of great films that need it than some random c-level horror film 100 people might buy.

The original 1958 Fly looks good enough, but maybe a 4K scan from the OCN would help spiff it up a little.

Cronenberg's The Fly, on the other hand, needs a brand new disc with a new 4K OCN scan and have all of the bonus features moved to a 2nd blu-ray (except commentaries, which will remain on disc 1), leaving the film to maximize as much bitrate as possible.

I've seen it up for pre-order for quite some time now. Here's the link:

People are still insisting that Fly '86 "looks good"? Sure it does - if it were 2004. It needs a fresh scan. Then it'll look "great".

Good thing I got a 3 day weekend because I’ve got some catching up to do. I received Cobra & Screamers yesterday & still need to watch 8mm & a few other movies I purchased recently.

If you're going to keep copy-and-pasting the same generic message for every Shout/Scream release, it's advisable that you learn how to spell "buy"

Good job; now the only thing you have to worry about moving forward is changing the name of the title

I think the bigger concern here is you spoke positively about a SF release. He must work for them!

This and the Vestron line being dead are the only two things I'm sure of in life.

They did a great job on 10 to Midnight, congratulations.

I can't wait for Mole People and Willard.

I know Diabolik typically ship early but do they also ship Scream Factory titles early? I'd like to receive Superstition and The Manitou as early as possible.

I usually get my SF titles a few days early before Street date from Diabolik.

The Fly (1986) is one of the few titles I think really needs a new “double dip” release with a fresh 4K OCN transfer. The current BD looks pretty rough.
