Not trying to annoy people but this would be utterly pointless really considering the Indicator editions are region-free. I mean... pointless to me. I'm sure some would buy them for whatever reason.

Ghosts of Mars I don't have on Blu-ray, so I'd be down for that. And while I've got Twilight Time's Vampires, I would be tempted to buy a Scream release of it just because I have all their other Carpenter titles.

I could see Scream putting out a Vampires 2 & 3 double feature.

I want Scream to follow up Someone's Watching Me with more made-for-TV movies from the 1970s and 1980s.

This House Possessed
No Place to Hide
Are You in the House Alone?
The Babysitter
(1981)
Goliath Awaits

...and so on.

Yeah I wouldn't be very interested either, but they're both Sony titles and Scream has a hard on for Carpenter.

If only people would buy them. They've stated in the past that TV movies haven't been successful for them, which sucks because I'd even take DVDs of so many old TV flicks.

I finally got my shipping notification for Urban Legend. Hopefully, everyone else is seeing theirs, as well. What a long wait for this one!

Given that all they've really put out in this regard is a DVD double feature and a pretty obscure, rather average one on Blu (The Spell), I've no idea what they were expecting. Someone's Watching Me! did better no doubt, but then they might say that this isn't representative, given the Carpenter factor. That said, if they'd come out the blocks with better-known and thought-of TV movies, I'm sure they'd sell better. While admittedly speculation, I'm fairly confident that the Kolchak films and Trilogy of Terror sold very well for Kino (by contrast, The House That Would Not Die probably won't do as well, but that's to be expected).

My point is, I'd like to see Scream have a proper go at this. Between their Warner and Universal deals they have access to some very interesting stuff (materials permitting). Even a new deal with Fox could (in theory) give them access to The Norliss Tapes, the highly-requested Dan Curtis film. If Scream were able to get something like this, or Don't Be Afraid of the Dark, or even Don't Go To Sleep, I'm sure they'd see far better sales figures than on previous TV movies they've released.

It feels safe to predict that 2-3 of the monthly titles (for the foreseeable future) will consist of titles from the Hammer and Universal deals, in the latter case the 30-50s stuff in particular (we know to expect most of Universal's horror and sci-fi stuff from this period, and no additional titles are with Kino). But then still have Warner, Sony, StudioCanal, MGM, Fox (perhaps), Corman, ITV, even independent deals. So much potential here, the line could keep going for years still (especially if it slowed down the current rate of releases), which never looked to be the case around this time last year.
Be great to finally get that Hard to Die/Sorority House Massacre 2 double feature. I wonder if they pushed that back to punish Wynorski for leaking it. But Terminator and Fade to Black are actually rumored to be coming from Scream? Interesting. Terminator would be a hard sell for me since it already has a great release. Criterion gets it, that's a different story...

Probably best to get this one out the way given it had already been leaked. The Seduction coming 21st May:

Perhaps we'll get another 3-4 retro titles on top of this for May, but who knows? Another two seems a safe bet. Feels like a while since we had a notable CE announcement, given we already knew The Craft was coming and The Green Inferno, well, I've already said my bit on that one.

So far May is looking like a very poor month...

The Seduction is worth getting eventually, but we need a good CE to give May a jolt of energy. Seems to be sputtering at the moment.

May seems like a "whatever" month, but I'm fine with giving them a pass as April is Giving us the Brain!

I'm hoping for something deep(ish) from the Warner deal. Alone in the Dark, The Pack, Ultimate Warrior, The Hand, Nature of the Beast - any of these (and numerous others) would be great.

Superstition, Manitou and Vice Squad are the only three titles I'm looking forward to from Shout. Not interested in the pre-1970 stuff or Hammer.
