Best Buy has The Craft on their site for $22. Maybe Shout has figured it out...

Jesus, everything in my cart has gone up over night. Willard, vengeance of she, mole people etc
I'm not paying $32 USD for Willard pre shipping.
At full RRP. No sale shout...do you want people to buy your products at launch or gauge them and get no sales? hmmmm

I wonder who can get Trick Or Treat (1986) on blu-ray since it's a Studio Canal property?

I mean is it still with Lionsgate?

I think the distribution situation for Trick or Treat is similar to Raw Deal. Lionsgate holds the US distribution rights, but not through StudioCanal. The only way I see it getting a US release is through the Vestron line.

There is a decent, Region-Free Blu-Ray release in Germany.

FINALLY got around to watching my copy of Candyman. Still holds up as a very solid horror movie. Always been a big fan of the imagination and creativity brought into horror movies such as this, Hellraiser, etc. I like when there's an interesting backstory to what's going on. Overall, I'd say this was one of my favorite revisits recently and glad I bought it because the rewatchability (that's a word now) is definitely there with this one. The PQ was very good for the age of the movie, although I did notice a change in the Unrated scene for all of 2 seconds. It was a quick, but noticeable change in PQ. Also thought the sound quality was great on this one. Much better than some of Shout's other releases recently. Had my volume at a reasonable level and didn't find myself having to adjust it. Overall, solid, solid release. Go buy it now.

On another note, not on the same level but it's making me want a release of the 3rd one again.

Late in my reply as I read the Shout thread in weekly digests.

The Black Scorpion TV series is out on DVD and available from Hamilton Books for $9.95:

https://www.hamiltonbook.com/black-s...evision-series

There's a flat $4.00 shipping charge but lots of bargain blu-rays to fill your order.

I have a copy and it's a decent set. The show is wack-a-doodle and I can only watch about one episode a month or it wears out its welcome pretty fast. But in the right mood it's a hoot.

I wonder if we'll see some of the confirmed/rumoured/long-gestating stuff?

Vice Squad
Fade to Black
The Terminator
Hard to Die/Sorority House Massacre II
Curse of Frankenstein
Crescendo

Seems inevitable we'll get something from the Hammer deal and Universal 30s-50s stuff.

Yeah, I'm hoping for Sorority House Massacre II or something lesser known, but am expecting more Hammer today.

Can Scream really offer a lot new when it comes to The Terminator?

The original mono track. If they add that to the BD I'll gladly buy Terminator on BD again.

In addition to the original mono track, The Terminator would be a good title to jump into UHD with.

Maybe I missed this info earlier, but it looks like the Lugosi/Karloff Collection has moved to June 18th.

Though imagine if Lionsgate says to Shout "hey, release these, but keep them as Vestron." If that means more Lionsgate horror on Blu, I'm all for it.

But then I woke up and it was all a dream, a dream that would never come to be.

It also needs to be un-tealed.

Frankenstein Created Woman CE coming 11th June (awful new art for this one):

Lends weight to the theory that the only Hammers getting the CE treatment will be Dracula and Frankenstein films.
