That being said, for the most part you can get them around $20 regardless of MSRP - but they were definitely playing games.
Yearly inflation will pretty much mean no more ~$15 for a CE. That’s business costs always going up, never down.
I would say I had to search around a little more than I usually did to get SF release in the $18-22 range, but found them I did. So not a huge deal to me.

That is a decision to be made by retailers. Competition gives us the lowest prices possible. What Shout is doing is anti-competitive. I have refused to pay over $20 for a SF title. I did clean up during the B&N sale and hope they do the same during Christmas with the Universal titles.

The Fly (1986)
The Fly II
Alone in the Dark (1982)
The Terminator
Jason Goes to Hell

If the Paramount deal is real:

Escape From L.A.
My Bloody Valentine
Pet Sematary Two
April Fool's Day

Fingers crossed! Espacially with 'Alone in the Dark' and 'My Bloody Valentine'. For the love of god, let it happen.

Here's my prediction, some possibilities being more realistic than others:

The Terminator

My Demon Lover

Alone in the Dark

Xtro (Possible Warner still has US rights)

The Hidden 2

The Guyver + Guyver 2

The Lawnmower Man II: Beyond Cyberspace

Jason Goes to Hell

Jason X

The Hound of the Baskervilles (being the're on a Hammer roll and Twilight Time's release is almost sold out with their rights to expire)

The Fly (1986)

The Fly II

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1-3

The Mask

Spawn (possibly include new scans of the Theatrical and DCs?)

The Island of Dr. Moreau 1996

Campfire Tales

Dark City

Lost In Space 1998

Detroit Rock City

I don't see Warner offering out NOES and it's sequels with SF's attempts to get Salem's Lot to go by.

I suspect the Paramount deal to be a few titles with obscure ones and a bigger title here and there. I also don't expect SF to have the Friday The 13th franchise as that's one of Paramount's money makers like Pet Cemetery.

It's possible they have My Bloody Valentine since Paramount, despite putting it out on DVD themselves back in the glory days, had licensed it to Lionsgate in a now expired deal and was an odd exception.

The Terminator and Big Trouble in Little China are the two biggies that'll get announced, I predict. Maybe the Fly movies.

The Fury and Body Double would be terrific CE announcements, considering their studios are in business with them to do it.

Throw in a few more Fox titles like Death Sentence and Borat and this would simply be amazing. I'm truly hoping for Alone in the Dark and the Guyver movies would be amazing.
