I remember people saying 15 titles and there is only 14. I guess something fell though for these announcements and will later.

French BD probably looked worse to them because the 4k transfer lacks the strong magenta push and EE the old master has. Granted compression may not have been great but it's known those two releases are using Fox's 4k master.

Last year I seem to remember being able to preorder Nov and Dec titles during the announcements. Doesn’t seem to be the case now?

I’m down for
Road Games
MBV (my disc doesn’t have the bronzing issue but I imagine they will go out for this)
Pet Semetary 2
The Fan
Body Parts
Slumber Party Massacre 4k

With the exception of Pet Sematary Two, this is one damn fine line-up.

Looking at my Paramount want list (of which The Prophecy is one), I can see a LOT of titles that would be perfect Shout/Scream releases. I really hope the deal they made with them is extensive...

Though I'm not a fan of MBV, I'm happy to see this finally getting released again.

I'm also happy to see confirmation of a new Paramount deal. Including Disney, Shout! now has a deal with every major movie studio!

More importantly, I can now see my favorite Paramount titles get the love they so rightfully deserve!

I'll be shocked if it isn't. I expect that by this time next year we'll have that, April Fools Day, Tales from the Darkside the Movie, and a "The Ring" Collection in hand on top of what we already had announced today and more.

I suspect a Friday the 13th set will be off limits, but I'd love to see a Paranormal Activity set with the original Screamfest cut of the first film and the never before seen alternate cut of the 3rd film included.

THE ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN (1957) – Early ’50s chiller starring Peter Cushing (in his first film for Hammer Films). Expected release: November 2019.

BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA (1986) – The definitive release of one of John Carpenter’s biggest and most beloved films in a 2-disc set. To raise the stakes, we’ll be releasing a Collector’s Edition and a Steelbook™ (both with the same content) simultaneously on the same date. Expected release: November or December 2019.

BODY PARTS (1991) – After losing his arm in a car accident, a criminal psychologist has it replaced with a limb that belonged to a serial killer. Jeff Fahey (The Lawnmower Man) stars in Eric Red’s (Bad Moon) underrated flick. Expected Release: January 2020.

DR JEKYLL AND SISTER HYDE (1971) – This gender-bending excursion from Hammer Films is quite the trip! Ralph Bates stars in this thriller directed by Roy Ward Baker (The Vampire Lovers). Expected Release: December 2019.

DRACULA (1979) (Collector’s Edition) – John Badham’s slick and sophisticated telling of the legendary story flies into our midst in a 2-disc set. Includes a new transfer of the theatrical version as seen in theaters in 1979 with full color as well as the alternate director-approved version of the film created in 1991 for home video with a muted color palette. Expected Release: November 2019.

THE FAN (1981) – This often-overlooked ’80s slasher film (which originally came out in theaters the same month as The Burning, Friday the 13th Part 2, Graduation Day and Happy Birthday to Me) stars Michael Biehn (Aliens, The Terminator) who plays a deranged admirer who sets his sights on a leading actress (screen legend Lauren Bacall). Score by Pino Donaggio (Dressed to Kill). Expected Release: November 2019.

THE FLY COLLECTION (1958/1959/1965/1986/1989) – The insect-morphing franchise buzzes into town in a complete set that includes the original terrors The Fly (1958), Return of the Fly (1959), Curse of the Fly (1965) as well as the horrifying reboots The Fly (1986) and The Fly II (1989). We’re setting this packaging up just like we did recently for Critters and The Omen collections (Rigid slipcase, individual cases). Expected Release: December 2019.

LET’S SCARE JESSICA TO DEATH (1971) – This creepy, atmospheric and very underrated psychological cult classic from the early ’70s makes its long-awaited Blu-ray format debut! Expected Release: January 2020.

MY BLOODY VALENTINE (1981) (Collector’s Edition) – Don’t have a heart attack but “Harry Warden” is back!! ❤ The original ’80s slasher film receives more love and attention from us with a planned 2-Disc set. Expected Release: Feb 2020 — before Valentine’s Day.

PET SEMATARY II (1992) (Collector’s Edition) – Mary Lambert’s entertaining follow up to her 1989 original film based on the Stephen King novel stars Edward Furlong (Brainscan), Anthony Edwards (Revenge of the Nerds) and Clancy Brown (The Shawshank Redemption). Expected Release: February 2020.

PROPHECY (1979) – Writer David Seltzer (The Omen) and Director John Frankenheimer (The Manchurian Candidate) spin a monstrous yarn about the dangers of environmental pollution in the deep woods of Maine. Robert Foxworth (Damien: Omen II) and Talia Shire (Rocky) star with horrifying monster makeup effects by Thomas Burman (Invasion of the Body Snatchers). Expected Release: November 2019.

ROAD GAMES (1981) (Collector’s Edition) – Legendary Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis hits the roads with Stacy Keach (The New Mike Hammer) and a serial killer against a deserted Australian backdrop. From Director Richard Franklin (Psycho II, Patrick). Expected Release: November 2019.

SILVER BULLET (1985) (Collector’s Edition) – A werewolf terrorizes a small New England town in this fang-baring film written by Stephen King. Stars Corey Haim (The Lost Boys), Everett McGill (Twin Peaks) and Gary Busey (The Buddy Holly Story). Expected Release: December 2019.

UNIVERSAL HORROR COLLECTION VOLUME III (1939/1941) – Another round of early classic horror films are on tap with Tower of London (1939), Man Made Monster (1941), The Black Cat (1941) and Horror Island (1941). Expected Release: December 2019

This is an outstanding announcement lineup.

The Abominable Snowman, Let's Scare Jessica to Death, and Prophecy are the ones that really gets my motors running.

I'm looking forward to double-dipping on Road Games, My Bloody Valentine, and Silver Bullet as well, though.

Also... It will be great to have Curse of the Fly on Blu-ray, finally.

lol a NECA of Russ Thorn. I’m not big on those, I don’t own any and they’ve never really appealed to me.

But I would buy a Harry Warden/MBV figure in a heartbeat.

Wonder if My Bloody Valentine will have the extra footage restored. If not, I'll just keep the original release. Looking forward to hearing what the extras will be for Big Trouble in Little China.

I can do without the others.

Outstanding lineup!

I figured that if they really did have a deal with Paramount, Prophecy would have to certain to come along at some point. Never expected it before the end of the year!
Kinda sucks that I already had my anniversary viewing of the DVD- which looked far worse than I ever remembered it being. I also had to admit to myself that the film really is a dog. Good actors, beautiful location, serious themes, but damn! does it get bad movie laughable at points.
Still day one for me, as I just have to big a nostalgic investment in it to ever truly hate it.

Even bigger is the news of the color Dracula finally returning after almost thirty years.
In a way, that's almost as huge a deal as wresting the Paramount license. Never expected that to happen.

Wow. I'm floored at how great this turned out. For an extra cherry on top, ditch the MAP and I'll pre-order half of them as soon as they go up.

You always know when a film is getting re-releaed or upgraded. At least 4 "OOP" copies of My Bloody Valentine already up at Ebay.

I'm glad to see My Bloody Valentine is coming back in print; I've got a copy of the Lionsgate disc, which still works, but the worry about the disc no longer working has lingered in the back of my mind. Assuming Scream carries over both cuts, I can finally relax...

I could possibly see a newer transfer being used (like with The Omen box set), and maybe a new bonus feature or two, but yeah I don't see it being THAT different compared to the original Blu-Ray, which already had a decent amount of extras anyway, IIRC.

That said, I LOVE Cronenberg's The Fly, and I enjoy the other films enough where I won't have any qualms getting it...

Big Trouble In Little China has a new 4K transfer making the rounds, so I could see Shout using it for their release. Their claims that it'll be the "definitive" release make me wonder if they've got all the extras from the Arrow release along with the Fox extras (along with anything else they've got lined up).

And the rigid slipcases/individual cases have been their motif for the "deluxe" box sets they've put out; see: Halloween, The Omen, Critters, etc. It's why some people here have really wanted to see them give A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th the same treatment...
