I would keep them solely for the fact that they have the original artwork...

Just finished Trick'r Treat... I'm not generally a fan of 2000's horror nor horror anthologies, so it was purely out of a lack of research that I grabbed this. Lucky for me, this film somehow worked! A nice level of humor and creepiness managed to keep it entertaining as it tied together some loose threads...

Trick 'r Treat is one of my all time favorite horror film surprises! I remember seeing the poster for it at the theatre when I went to see Rob Zombie's Halloween and I already knew I was going to love it. I was so bummed when it got canned by Warner.

It was so close to not working for me... but it managed to all click. Instead of a 70's-80's throwback horror film, it just felt like a modern twist on those eras

Luckily a decent amount of Shout/Scream titles end up locally at used stores. I've even found Vinegar Syndrome titles with slips. But this notice of a bunch of titles going out of print at once still kind of left me overwhelmed since there are probably a bunch that I still need.

I know Kino's Halloween sale goes live tomorrow but has it been confirmed that Scream's will also begin tomorrow? I haven't seen anything about it aside from one post by Scream on social media stating "Halloween sale coming soon".

I have the Corman steelbooks, but oddly enough I'd rather have the original blurays as a collector...

SF’s sale might start today. Their sales often start on Mondays.

I do like the alternate "Monster" title and artwork for Humanoids, as well as the original Humanoids title and art of the chick in a bikini lying on the ground

Trick 'r Treat is my favorite horror anthology since Creepshow. When Michael Dougherty's commitments to Godzilla vs Kong are wrapped up, I hope he turns his attention to putting the long-in-development sequel into production.

Me too! Actually liked it more the second time I watched a couple years ago; the school bus segment is my favorite.

Figures Dolls, the Scream Factory release that's most been on my radar, is nowhere to be seen there...I swear, I have never seen that title for lower than $20.

My copy of Swamp Thing just arrived today and the cover art is a little fuzzy on the back too, for what it's worth. Others have recently reported similar things.

Those are both great for sure!! Humanoids is actually the only Corman title I've upgraded so far... and while the new 4k scan is terrific, I'm glad I held on to the old edition as I think I actually prefer the way it looks.

Ok so this sale is actually a sale. Especially considering how high these titles usually remain on Amazon and all that. Was not expecting to participate but I may just have to haha.

Pretty nice sale! Definitely gonna go ahead and grab Lust for a Vampire, Cobra and Screamers, all of which I've been waiting to find at a decent price. The Poison Ivy box is tempting at $29.99 (cheapest I've seen it, unless I missed something).

I can't help but wish that prices were a little lower, like in the Kino sales, but still---can't resist! These three titles got me up to the free shipping threshold, and they were all titles I really wanted to own:
