If Scream got access to the Republic library, I'd also like to see Manny Coto's Playroom get released. That flick is all kinds of crazy, it's perfect for rediscovery on Blu.

I thought Stay Alive was with Disney though? I'd def jump on that one if Scream got their hands on it either way.

And for crying out loud (pun intended), can we get a blu-ray of CRY_WOLF already?
Cry Wolf is still one of my most requested. Surprised we haven't seen an announcement for it yet. Shout typically throws in a more modern title into their mix. I think the most recent "newer" title they released was John Carpenter's Vampires? Either way, I think we're due.

It seems like if Scream released Dr. Giggles it would at least be cheaper even if it didn't come with Otis. It may even have more/better special features and if it was a collector's edition come with other niceties like a slipcover and/or poster.

ETA: Trekkie313 beat me to it, and made another good point about the aspect ratio

I would be down for Dr. Giigles in a heartbeat as the current release isn't the greatest. Buffy however, already has a decent enough release and if Scream released it, it would probably be the same transfer.

Paramount owns the Republic library, so it should be within Scream's reach.

Speaking of Republic, one of the interviewees on Vinegar Syndrome's Amityville set talks about how he worked for Republic throughout the mid to late 90's making all those direct-to-video movies like Children of the Corn 4-6, Night of the Demons 3 - and - the Amityville films. That got me thinking maybe VS has a foot in the door and could have access to some of these movies (the ones Miramax no longer controls, if any).

+1 for Strangeland, one of my last remaining US DVD holdouts next to The Abyss & The Beastmaster.

For those of you requesting Drop Dead Fred: if you haven't seen it in a while, you are in for a very rude awakening.

Strangeland is still listed digitally (in SD and HD) for sale by Lionsgate on Amazon. The rumors that the rights have reverted back to Dee Snider appear incorrect meaning it's unlikely Scream Factory can grab this one even if they wanted to. If this is in fact with Lionsgate we can only hope that it is one of the forever "coming soon" titles we're heard about for the last 9 months.

Been reading a lot about this. I like the Soska twins, they usually deliver the goods. Definitely looking forward to this different spin on Rabid.

If Scream gets a new Warner deal, I'd also love Dave Parker's The Hills Run Red.

Yeah, especially the Unrated Cut that was never released. The released R-rated Cut was heavily censored, because Warner at that time refused to release Unrated Cuts in general.
