Do you have a link to that? It's very unlike them to be so forthcoming.

EDIT: I've found it, in the comments section here

Yes, Brides of Dracula and Phantom of the Opera in OAR ! Frankenstein and the Monster from Hell should also be coming this year. They are releasing Capt. Kronos on April 14th ! Looks like another Great Hammer year from Shout !

Based on the tone of the response and the winky face, I think it's safe to say they have them. Now, it's going to be a waiting game to know when these will get a release.

Vestron Facebook page a few years ago said Fright Night 2 is with the Producers. The only names I seen online are Herb Jaffe and Mort Engelberg were the producers from Vista Organization. Only other producer credit I seen comes up on the AFI site says line producer Jeffrey Sudzin.

It looks like Scream Factory will be dipping deeper into Universal's eight film Hammer blu-ray set with stand-alone collector's editions; a complete turnaround from the collections they seem to love to release such as the Vincent Price Collections among others. The Brides of Dracula should be next.

I'm hoping that Shout Select will release Elaine May's A New Leaf (1971) with all the deleted footage included!

The original story included a sub-plot in which Henry discovers from the household accounts that Henrietta is being blackmailed on dubious grounds by the lawyer, McPherson, and a third party; and Henry poisons both of them.

The film as delivered by Elaine May was drastically re-cut and shortened ("butchered", according to some) by Paramount before its release. Sadly, neither the director's cut of the film nor the original shooting script has ever been made publicly available.

I have my suspicions that some, if not all, of the Vista Organization titles aren't owned on 50 / 50 basis by Jaffe's estate and Engelberg. Shout! was able to license one Vista title, Dudes, but Fright Night Part II and Nightflyers seem to be off-limits. Severin suggested, a while back, that it was licensed to a label, but it's been almost a year and a half and nothing has materialized.

Is the German release by 84 Entertainment an official release?

Olive Films has already released an excellent package for A New Leaf as part of their Signature Series, better than anything Shout would ever put together.

The excised scenes are either lost completely or Paramount has no intention of letting anyone see them.

You can find the shooting script online and the excised stuff would have made for some interesting and darkly funny viewing but the scenes that featured William Hickey in particular would have been quite extraneous and caused the film to lose a bit of focus IMO, though they would go some small way to tying up a couple loose ends with respect to the fates of the household staff in the film.

I would love to see that footage but I don't think the film is worse off without it.

We're just missing Curse of Frankenstein now. Though I'm still hoping Shout can release Revenge of Frankenstein themselves.

In terms of unreleased Hammer (applicable to Scream), we're now just waiting on these:

Four-Sided Triangle (Hammer)
Slave Girls (AKA Prehistoric Women) (Hammer)
The Viking Queen (Hammer)
Curse of Frankenstein (WB)
Crescendo (WB)
Hysteria (WB)
She (WB)
Moon Two Zero (WB)
The Damned (Sony)
The Stranglers of Bombay (Sony)
The Terror of the Tongs (Sony)
Creatures the World Forgot (Sony)
The Nanny (Fox)
The Anniversary (Fox)
Shadow of the Cat (Universal)

Surely we'll see the remaining Hammer estate titles (though I'm not certain about Four-Sided Triangle), and they're rumoured to have at least a couple of Warner titles (Curse of Frankenstein and Crescendo). Not sure about the rest. If they had the Fox titles, I expect we'd have seen them by now since they'd have used existing masters. The Kino Insider says Shadow of the Cat either has legal issues or is with another label, so maybe. On the evidence of The Ugly Duckling, I expect Sony will put out their remaining Hammer titles themselves.

On top of these, they're almost certainly going to double-dip on some more Universal titles:

Brides of Dracula
Kiss of the Vampire
Phantom of the Opera

I'm not convinced they'll bother with the other 3, though they might. There's also the Warner Hammer titles already on Blu-ray, providing they can get them. Again, I can't see them wanting to tackle all of these, but Horror of Dracula and The Mummy (the latter is lacking extras from the UK release) both offer room for improvement. The other Frankensteins and Draculas already look very good, and the scope for extras isn't as obvious, so it may be that they leave these.

Would've been nice to get at least one of these to balance out these endless Hammer announcements. At least they threw in Idle Hands, which I have very little interest in.

What if Shout released a Frankenstein box set, should they have access to Sony still for REVENGE. CURSE, with restoration costs, could be the selling point to have everyone re-buy the titles they have ala HALLOWEEN. I'd hope not, but then again...

I also wouldn't rule out Scream doing a CE of The Vampire Lovers. We know it sold well for them, it's one of their earliest releases, there's room for improvement with the transfer, and they might be able to include that additional head shot, as the German Blu did.

Moreover, the 4 ITV titles (Vampire Circus, Twins of Evil, Countess Dracula, Hands of the Ripper) should also be in their possession now, they might do something with them once the existing agreement with Synapse expires.
