Wow, I hope it's true.

I love Rabid, the atmosphere and tone of the film. A box set would be nice, but I'd be fine with single titles being released on BLU also.

The company I work for has a "points" program and when you go above and beyond you earn points, well today I cashed in some points because "The Nesting" BluRay was on the list of Horror titles to choose from. I can't wait to get it in 7-10 days.

p.s. I also got the bluray for "Dead Heat" not a great movie but it's must have for Vincent Price Completist like myself!!

I would pick this up. I only have The Brood on dvd. The region 1 Scanners dvd has audio issues, and though I enjoy Rabid and Shivers I never liked them enough to own. However, a Criterion set with The Brood and Scanners would make it worth it.
Oh yeah, I can delete my HD rip (don't know from where) of Scanners off my pc!

Forgive me if this has already been discussed, but is the upcoming Blu-ray of The Godsend for the 1980 version with the British family?

I watched that flick a couple of times back in the day when it aired on Elvira's Movie Macabre, and it was plenty eerie. I was only in sixth grade then, so I'm not sure how the film will fare these days if I watch it three decades later. It'll be good to know it's out there on Blu-ray somewhere, though.

Default The Night Stalker/Night Strangler

Any chance Kolchak The Night Stalker could get on Blu-ray from Scream? I searched but couldn't find any mention of this in the forums. The regular DVD double feature is out of print and the price is going up and would love to have this in Blu. The artwork I would imagine would be cool too.

I wonder what the chances of an upgrade of Bad dreams and Visiting hours,i have the dvd set from shout but would doulble dip in a heartbeat for both esp BD,always enjoyed that movie(wish they went with the alternate ending though). The Evil and Twice Dead as well, though id guess that would be very unlikely.

Not that it needs another Blu ray release, but I'd love Scream Factory to release Texas Chain Saw Massacre next year for its 40th Anniversary. I love the movie so much and I think Scream could do an excellent job, esp with the artwork.

When I was a kid, the concept and the few still images I saw in magazines scared the crap out of me.

By the time I finally saw the movie - I think I was in my twenties - it was really cheesy. Sort of like a cheap 50s sci-fi film done up with 70s/"grindhouse"-style special effects and sensibilities. It's something that needs to enjoyed on that level

You should have said:

"After scanning the details, your post gave me the shivers,..."

But with that said, I would DEFINITELY jump on a Cronenberg box from Criterion.

So you know what that means? Find a bunch of kids (if you don't have any of your own) and have a movie night! Just tell 'em it's incredible, man! And make sure to fix lots of melted cheese sandwiches. With salsa.

Heck, I would love these two and the entire series collection which was released on DVD from Universal years ago. Best series ever!

This may be old news, but the Funhouse poster is sold out, joining the They Live, Terror Train and Halloween III posters. I'm assuming the remaining stock went when Scream had their bundle sale?

Why did someone create a Shout Factory listing for Witchboard 2? It's being released by Olive (which should have been obvious, as it is a Republic Property), and is clearly listed among their holdings here.

I wish Shout would release one of my favorite movies and a highly underrated flick in my opinion, AMERICAN GOTHIC.

I would absolutely love to see Scream Factory do AMERICAN GOTHIC, complete with a commentary and an interview with Janet Wright, who was unforgettable as Fanny.
