Guess this was inevitable, but I wonder how it will affect other previously scheduled (and presently unannounced) titles for July and August?
So some of the pressing plants are shutting down, and others are cutting their hours of operations. Designing and printing artwork, production of special features and extras, and all other aspects of putting out blu-ray packages are being affected by COVID-19.

The $10 off is great, but it essentially just covers shipping. It seems like anything sub $20 after shipping I already own or essentially works out to the Amazon price when you add on shipping. Why do they charge $7 for shipping a single disc, that’s excessive. Also, $75 for free shipping is way too high. Oh well, I’ll hold out for the random Amazon price drops.

I'm guessing it might be Brides of Dracula (in it's correct AR) or maybe the long ignored Shadow of the Cat which has never had a U.S. release. Of course The Lost Continent is great.

Hey there Scream-sters, your Shout! insider here. First of all, I'm sure I speak for everyone at Shout! when I say we all hope you're doing well and taking care of yourselves and each other during this difficult time. We're doing everything we can to address your customer service needs, but please bear with us as we're doing what we can with limited resources right now.

Secondly, yes, this is me letting you know that we have another round of titles set to go OOP later this year. They're still active now, so please get them while you can before the after-market jacks up the prices. As inventories begin to get low, we'll be letting you know through social media.

Before I get into that, though, I wanted to let you know we've reacquired the license to Hackers. Our 20th Anniversary Edition will be available to ship again soon, and it'll be the same version that was previously released, same UPC and all. We've already reactivated it on our site: https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=4344

Now onto the list of titles going OOP. Blu-rays are noted in Green and DVDs are noted in Orange.

I'll continue to keep you updated when possible as these things happen. And just to remind everyone, we have not lost our relationship with MGM, nor can I comment on potential future titles going OOP. Stay safe everybody!

EVIL OF FRANKENSTEIN has already been announced, so I'll guess that it might be one of the other two Universal titles with extra TV footage:

KISS OF THE VAMPIRE or
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.

I’m surprised SF are letting Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh go OOP when they also have the first movie.

Thanks for the heads up. I had an inkling that the Poltergeist II and III editions would be going OOP after the last batch of MGM titles went OOP late last year/earlier this year, so I ordered both back in December.

How much of an upgrade are the Poltergeist sequels compared to the previous releases? Those are the only titles i may have to pick up depending.

I placed an Amazon order for Exterminator 2 and Supernova, since I dragged my feet for the longest time getting around to purchasing them. Better late than never.

Just picked up Invasion of the Body Snatchers and TerrorVision/The Video Dead. Surprised the former is going OOP because I assumed it would be a solid seller. It’s $25 ATM, but I guess I had no choice if I wanted it. The MGM Blu-ray is $5 with the same transfer, so those bonus features better be worth it. I’m a huge fan of the Body Snatchers films, and paid the price for waiting too long. TerrorVision/The Video Dead I’ve always wanted to check out, and it’s cheap ($13), so what the hell? The disc had a good seven year run in print.

Another FYI, Shout is doing a 15% off sale now through April 30th (unfortunately you can’t combine it with the $10 off code...I tried). Free shipping over $50

I just picked up INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, THE PRISON (the only two soon to be OOP I want or needed), AFTER MIDNIGHT, and THE OUTING/GODSEND FOR $65

There are plenty other titles I’ll be going back for once my tax return comes in.

Edit: Damn, I’ve already gotten a tracking number for my order. They’re moving quick.

I suspect that FAREWELL TO THE FLESH will be the first one to get really scarce from this new OOP list. Just got my order in!

The Shout release of “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” is a newer master than the MGM but both utilize the same element (Interpositive). The Shout is a subtle upgrade compared to the MGM but I prefer the Shout not being as “noisy” as the MGM.

I got an email about a free tote bag with a purchase, but it doesn't stack with the 15% off.

My point here is that I now know Shout has tote bags for $5.99, so it can be used as a free shipping filler if you need one. I used to use the enamel pin, but they sold out of those.

Can anyone say anything for A Quiet Place in the Country, Rasputin: The Mad Monk, The Reptile, or The Ambulance?

I'm contemplating placing an order, wouldn't want to go too over $50 (may pair 2 of those with something like The Vampire Lovers to cross the threshhold), but am struggling to pick just 2. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure how many here are familiar with The Lost Continent but it’s a great cult/SciFi movie. Very entertaining, “atmospheric” and the replay value is good . Highly recommend it.

Rasputin is really good...if you like classic “Hammer” films, you will like this one.
