Does Warner own this one? I've never seen it but it's one I keep hearing about. I'm a huge slasher fan so it's a must own if it gets a release. Hopefully SF can get it. If not I'll settle for a Warner Archive release, like you said.

Nice to see fellow Alone in the Dark fans, for some reason I always get a lot of abuse and hate whenever I mention I'm a fan of this movie. A director's commentary would be great along with a collector's edition slipcase.

I think most people are talking about the 1982 film of the same name rather than the Uwe Boll film (though I do need some more Uwe Boll garbage on Blu).

Wherever I can get the best price. New or used, doesn't matter to me.

yeah, it's unbeatable especially considering that my wife works at Target so we get an extra 10% off and then another 5% off with our redcard.

With Scream releasing more Warner films recently, I'm thinking there is a good chance Alone in the Dark (1982) gets a release. There was also some leaker dude who couldn't spell or write that said it was coming. We all thought he was nuts, but he was right about certain titles like Orca and 13 Ghosts, so he might not have been as nuts as we thought he was.

Besides, i'm not particularly fond of some of Grindhouse Video's business practices. Selling certain items (Creepshow 2) for scalper prices.
I don't like it either but Amazon sells at scalper prices as well. (3rd party)

https://grindhousevideo.com/shop/ols...show-2-blu-ray

Actually Creepshow 2 is only $25 right now.

I usually try to avoid third-party sellers on Amazon, but I recently got Evilspeak, which I believe is OOP, from a third-party seller. I think I paid $27, which wasn't too bad.

No. You're making it seem like amazon themselves is jacking up the price on things. I don't even care what GHV does anymore. I still buy if they have a good sale but that's not a good comparison.

I'll buy directly from Shout for titles I "can't live without." Otherwise, I'll buy from a local brick-and-mortar chain, or Amazon occasionally.

Lol you must have failed debate class....

First of all third party sellers aren't Amazon, those are other retailers selling their stuff through Amazon. And second I was obviously speaking of the Creepshow 2 LE. It's not in stock anymore, but Grindhouse Video had a listing for a crazy amount a few months back. And as previously posted by others on this board Mike from GV has had a bunch if listings at scalper prices on the website.

But I guess when you want to believe something so bad, you will look past all the facts.

Hello friend, I actually like the Christian Slater Alone in the Dark film

I thought the premise was kind of cool, an ancient lost civilization that worshiped demons and the Edward Carnby character has potential. The "sequel" I thought was worse than this one haha.

I've always enjoyed the game series and would think a proper adaptation set in the 1920's with a heavy Lovecraft influence would be better though.
