I’m hoping Scream managed to license The Nanny and The Anniversary from Fox before Disney destroyed the party.

Alright, cool. I'm totally fine with waiting. As long as the order's in the system and I'll get them eventually, I don't mind. AOD was the only one I was really itching to grab since I've held off on it for so long.

Seems like Warner Bros. Hammer Films titles, with their strictly bare bones releases would be perfect candidates for the Scream Factory Treatment. I'd be a double dipper!

If there is I REALLY hope The Other (1972) is one of them. It's a real longshot but that would ne awsome.

That makes me feel a little bit better about my order from the MST3K store. I ordered two volumes on May 15, the last day of the sale. One finally shipped a month later.

I'm still waiting for the other (the vol. with Boggy Creek II) and have not heard anything from them besides the generic form emails saying they are behind.

Not sure it was mentioned but got the oop Road House for $9.99 yesterday at walmart.

Had missed it a few days ago when I got Fiestarter, Big Trouble, and the Bill and Ted Twofer.

Its always nice to see classic killer kid flicks get love! I was able to get Twighlight Times for a high price as it was oop, but would be nice to expand its availability for others. Plus certainly wouldn't mind some extras. With killer kids I love extras that do interviews with them now and there experience filming. One of my favorites was listening to Patty McCormick from Bad Seed .

I watched The Other for the first time last fall and was pretty floored by it. The whole movie has a surreal bend to it, and it's also pretty bleak with some shockingly cruel moments. Great film.

Lol. Must've been some kid who does a lot of blind buying and ends up hating everything. Do some research first

Just preordered the GoT steelboook 4k set due November 3. If a F13 set is due in October, probably late October, that’s going to be a fun few weeks for the old wallet.
YOLO, so bring it!

Agreed, The Nanny is great. The Anniversary I don't think would fit in the Scream Factory line, but they could do a Shout Factory release, I just watched it a week or so ago and thought it was quite enjoyable.

Me too, wasn't expecting an October film to bail. I'm starting to feel we may not be seeing many new films at all this year, but the big concern is if the films keep bailing will there be any theaters left in business come this time next year. They are supposed to start reopening in my area at the end of July, so hopefully they have some new films to show, because in my area the show old classics won't bring in much money.

Thursday line up of Comic Con panels came out and there are A LOT of them. Scream is usually on a Friday or Saturday, so it gives me some hope as again there were a lot of panels for Thursday.

We should know by Saturday if Scream will be at Comic Con virtual.

Not-so-good news: Due to the ongoing COVID situation + behind-the-scenes factors out of our control, we are not in a position to reveal future titles to time along with the upcoming virtual SDCC event this month. We're genuinely disappointed as we know its been an annual highlight for many. (Us too!) On a brighter note, we do have more releases planned into 2021 and are pursuing more. Stay tuned, stay safe & thank you for your continued support.
Unfortunate, but at least we'll have plenty of surprises in the monthly announcements going forward. And of course, looking forward to next week, which they've hyped up considerably now.

Damn. Oh well. They did say we "should" be pleased with the October slate, so hopefully it's a few big titles.
