I had an account and all i had to do was check the box to cancel. Usually takes a couple days for paypal to refund to a card.

I don't regularly check when Amazon pre-orders go live. Is it normal that the F13 set isn't listed yet on Amazon.com?

I think it's normal, I'm not positive but pre-orders usually go up around a week after they are announced but just keep an eye on the listing, I'm sure they will have a pre-order soon. Amazon is where I hope to pre-order myself as they won't charge at all until it ships.

My problem was I ordered in the first 20 minutes when the site was going haywire and got a paypal verification but nothing from Shout Factory. I was logged into my account (I know so because that was a 15 minute process in itself) and I checked to see if it processed my order and there was nothing. Still is nothing for that transaction. So an hour later nervous that the posters would sell out placed another order and that officially went through on the Shout website and I received a paypal email. So now I have two paypal charges and one processing order on the Shout website. I emailed them that night to cancel the first transaction and honor my second one which is the one showing up in their site. Still no word back though.

Go to their site, find your order, check the box and choose cancel. I think it's something new, I had never done it before, but it certainly made it easier than having to deal with their shitty customer service. Now if it just drops off my bank account so I ultimately don't have to deal with them....

I believe I read on another forum that SF's next batch of releases won't be until December .

Really? I've never known them to skip a month entirely. Do you have the source for that?

No, and it's entirely possible that I was thinking of Warner Archives, rather than Scream. If so, I regret the error.

I've never seen Scream skip a month in the last few years. What forum are you talking about?

EDIT: NM, it seems like you were talking about WAC.

Didn't they say they would be participating in comic con somehow but NOT be able to announce a lineup of titles like they normally do, due to COVID?

Same thing happened to me except my first order shows on Shouts site, but it’s completely blank. It just has an order number and how much I paid, no option to cancel. I still haven’t heard back from Shout about it.

October is an expensive month, glad I got my Dawn of the Dead 4K paid for through Diabolik and the Friday set paid for through Shout. Now we need a Nightmare set from SF.

When was the last batch of OOP announcements made? Have more been hinted at and what could they be? With SF releasing Pumpkinhead and Motel Hell, it appears that they are renewing the rights for some of their MGM titles too, so not everything will go OOP from their MGM releases, only the smaller titles I imagine.

Since WB licensed Freddy vs. Jason to SF, does that pretty much guarantee they would license the NOES to SF as well?

Unfortunately, you are indeed seemingly correct. This was posted on the CHFB, after Scream had revealed their October line-up:

Quote:
I asked Scream. No more releases announced for October and no releases at all for November. More to come for December, most likely in September. I think we are seeing COVID hit em hard.
I can't see why this individual would lie about receiving such a response. In any case, maybe someone on here could ask Scream if this is indeed the case. It'd be quite disappointing to go from usually getting another 10-15 announcements in the next week or so (had SDCC not been cancelled) to not getting any further ones until early September.

Not really. It's possible that if the Friday set does well, they may license ANoES down the line, but it doesn't guarantee that it'll happen.

That's odd. Hope you hear back from them soon. I can cancel the order I have open on shouts site (check box is there and everything) but i wanna keep that open and just cancel the extra charge on PayPal. I'll keep you updated if I hear anything or not from Shout.

Well, I wish I had been incorrect. Thanks for the clarification.

That blows considering the talk before about all the surprising and cool stuff coming. I think with all going on it would have been nice if they could have squeezed out a couple titles for November just to make it feel a little bit normal. Hell I'll take some indie horror movies at this point. Plenty of stuff not released that look decent.

I'm not a fan of "interviews" conducted via Skype or any other platform where the subject sounds and looks like they're in outer space so if they're using COVID as a reason for delays I think they should just release the films "as is" and spare us the long waits. I don't think anyone looks at these interviews more than once anyway.
