For the love of God, release Big Bad Mama and Big Bad Mama II on Blu-ray.
(I'm really happy to see Jackson County Jail released, though!) |

Wow, the order I placed this morning for Streetwalkin' and Caged Heat / Jackson County Jail has just shipped from Shout! Factory.
That was surprisingly fast. |

Remember there may not be any November announcements at all if that recent post was correct. Has anyone tried asking to see if this is indeed the case?

There's no way they're going to skip November/December if they are doing random Corman film drops. They may be light months, but I'd be shocked to not see something released during those two months.

The poster claimed there would be December reveals, but nothing for November. I guess we'll find out shortly if this is the case, but I admit it does seem unlikely. I remember them having light months (Deadtime Stories was the only title for February 2017), but can't recall them ever not releasing anything.

Like you said, we'll know soon enough but it just makes too much sense to wait and announce the Corman stuff in place of whatever else was planned if you had nothing else ready to go. |

The poster later mentioned that they got confused with WAC or something along those lines if I'm remembering it correctly.

I know they had said their July 13 announcement would ONLY be for October titles, and they would not be doing their usual massive lineup announcements like they normally do for July/ComicCon. In the same post (can't remember which site) they also stated they DID have titles planned for "later" in 2020 and into 2021. That being said, "later" could definitely mean skipping November and saving the few goodies they're confident can be finished for December. |

Jobla said he read it elsewhere, but was unsure of his recollection. BarnDoor found a post from someone at another forum, but I haven't seen any further corroboration, and without further proof or context, the post doesn't seem particularly convincing.

There's only been speculation about BRIDES OF DRACULA. Nothing has been announced.

Not sure if it has anything to do with anything, but Shout works out of Los Angeles, which has had it pretty bad with COVID in the last month.

Plus, WKoA13 makes a perfect point. It would be beyond ridiculous for them to spend the money to license the title, with the intent to release it, and then change their minds (wasting the money already spent, basically) due to it being leaked. Yes, they were unhappy about Hell Night leaking, and it turned into a whole big thing. However, let's look at the Friday the 13th set. That got leaked months ago, by at least two people whom worked on it. It's all anyone was talking about in the threads. That didn't get postponed out of pettiness. Nor did the Halloween box set, which also got leaked before SF announced it. Plus, Wynorski has pulled this type of stunt before. Remember that he repeatedly claimed that Chopping Mall was getting a Blu-Ray YEARS before Lionsgate ended up releasing it. I obviously don't have actual proof , but it comes across like he's trying to promote these releases to build up interest from the fans, and basically force the studios' hands into releasing them. It's enough for me to not take him as a credible source on news for official releases, and as much as I'd like to see SHM2/Hard To Die get a release, I think that stunt soured SF from working with him. |

I was being facetious, I do think their was original plans to release SHM2/Hard To Die earlier and maybe Jim Wynorski was joking or leaked it to soon but It's obviously had more to due with the lawsuits with the Corman family then anything Jim Wynorski has said.... |
