Based on a quick look at your collection, I think you'll be happy you picked it up. If it truly is limited to 1,000 copies, it's worth the price.
Think of it as a super low budget THEM or TARANTULA.

The picture quality is outstanding, I was blown away at how good it looks.
Again it's Corman so it has no budget, but what has always worked for me in Crab Monsters is the enthusiasm of the cast and crew - they're not just phoning it in, they're making the best movie they can with what they have. And it moves at a brisk pace so I'm never bored.

Hope you have fun with it!

Thought this was an apprietiated update.

Quote:
Hello there!

We are writing about the order that we are working to get shipped to you as soon as we can!

Since our team went into work-from-home mode we have shipped tens of thousands of orders. We are still working remotely, we don’t know when Los Angeles will open up for office work to resume. The delays and disruptions caused by the spread of the pandemic continue to burden our supply chain in a major way. We are sorry that it’s happening but we are devoted to keeping all Shout and Shout Partners employees safe during this time.

The ongoing delays at the post office have become national news, we have been seeing this for months. We are doing our best to keep you informed and to get orders scanned and delivered! We have instituted local, in-person visits to our busiest post office depots to identify and correct any catalog or new release shipping slowdowns and stoppages.

We hope this update will answer some questions and keep you up to date on our efforts to clear the backlog (under some difficult circumstances) and to improve your experience with us.

CATALOG ORDERS (we are taking a different approach)

We’re working on fulfilling all back orders and last week we moved lots of individual orders to an alternative warehouse, we should see orders begin to ship in the next 7 working days (or sooner). We are stocking up heavily for the fall and winter, we have asked the plant to expedite these orders to be sure we can give you a better experience on the Shout site. As noted above the supply chain is challenged; best sellers, especially multi-disc sets, are shipping to our warehouses far slower than normal.

A FEW WEEKS AWAY FROM A SITE ENHANCEMENT

We are working on adding a feature to the site that allows you to know when we have a title in stock and an estimated date for availability when we don't. This improvement to the site will give you more information and more control over your shopping experience with us going forward.

NEW RELEASES

New releases are being given priority and we are aiming to deliver new releases to you as close to street date as possible. As the overall industry volume increases for the fall and winter we are having to work hard to be sure we get our new release product on time. We continue to monitor the post offices to be sure that the product is scanned and shipped.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

We appreciate you reaching out to us with your questions. Our team is answering and resolving issues within a few business days at this point. Sometimes it takes a few exchanges and some research to get you what you need, but we are determined to resolve every possible issue.

THANKS FOR STICKING WITH US

Thanks for shopping at Shout! and sticking with us through all of this! We have added staff, overtime and warehouse infrastructure to keep everything moving. Incidentally the response to the They Live UHD and the action figure has been great and we have more to reveal into 2021!

Stay Connected,

Shout! Factory

I'm in for Grotesque (with Linda Blair). Have not seen that since 89 on VHS.

SF released Grotesque on DVD and it looks like it was sourced from a tape copy. Not a good sign.

I remember reading they only found film elements for Battletruck, in Australia, after the double feature DVD came out.

If they’re going to have a Shocktober sale next month, here’s to hoping they’re prepared.

My Vincent Price Collection reissue shipped yesterday...and actually shipped! Like had left origin city by the afternoon rather than sitting in "label created" for several days!

Still waiting on one of fours packages to ship. I actually got most faster then expected. I do hope they get things settled, and have the Shocktober sale.

However, the most important info I thought was the site "fix". People have been begging for that for awhile! Myself included.

I'm with ya...but considering the email update you received puts some doubt in my mind that they will have one.
On one hand, parts of their company are closed, admitting to a backlog and slow order fulfillment. Yet they are stocking up heavily for the winter months and expediting that inventory.

Some concern, and some positive.

I'm looking forward to it, and hopeful that it comes to fruition. However, with the issues they are having and the big push for the F13 set makes me nervous.

No that won't do for a blu-ray release. SF needs to step-up their game. No more 1080p releases from old masters. They've been doing that too much lately.

It feels strange that AB has mostly left cult titles behind. Back in the early days, they were THE company.

Once they got bought out by Starz, the AB as we knew it was dead. Lionsgate having them now has just made it worse.

I'm pretty sure Lionsgate dissolved Anchor Bay a few years back. I don't think the Anchor Bay branding has been used since 2017.

After Lionsgate is done with Vestron maybe they'll resurrect Anchor Bay for a similar specialty line.

Where do Shout/Scream ship from? I have a mystery package coming from Chino California and I'm wondering if that's from them.

That's too bad because Grotesque is alot of fun and needs a blu ray release. Linda Blair's 80s output could be blu ray treasure

The ending of that was totally bonkers. It was like they ran out of money and tacked a completely different film’s ending on it just to finish it.
