I highly doubt Army of Darkness is going to be announced for January. The only reason we know it’s coming is because of a leak in a magazine article. Shout confirmed they weren’t planning to announce it any time soon, as it’s their first ground-up UHD so they have a lot of work to do.

So Shout's moratorium on new announcements is only valid through the end of the year?

For some reason I thought I read January, but I guess I misread that. Well, that gives me hope for a few other titles then.

As far as I know we should still be getting new titles every month in the foreseeable future, but who knows for sure.

I'd be okay with a couple more slow months, if it means they will be working on a NOES box set for February or March.

I just recently purchased a new 4K tv (TCL R635) along with a Pannasonic 4K player (UB820). I have been messing around with settings and testing various discs and for reasons I can't quite figure out, I am dealing with very slight lip sync issues on a few Scream Factory titles. I have only tested out 'Manhunter' and 'Pumpkinhead' and noticed inconsistencies on both. Nothing so bad that it would ruin the entire films, but enough for me to notice. I am trying to determine if this is a player/TV issue or a QC issue on the SF discs. Has anyone else dealt with lip sync issues on SF discs? I have not had any issues with Criterion, Synapse, etc--just those two SF films so far.
I can't answer to those specific discs, sorry, but I ran into the exact same thing with the WA disc THE WORLD, THE FLESH & THE DEVIL. I made some further adjustments on my TV and that seemed to get rid of it, but I have to do some more monitoring of it before I'm sure. At this point I'm almost certain it is a hardware problem and not a defective disc.

Hoping it's announced then! The sequels sorely need to be on their own discs with AVC, full BD50, all available bonus features, and FvJ re-encoded as AVC with DTS-HD MA 5.1. 4K scans for all perhaps? First one is a given and no idea if the remake would be included since it was left out of the current BD set. Obviously wouldn't be as many discs as the Halloween and Friday the 13th sets.
Still waiting on Friday the 13th - Deluxe Collection to ship from TCM.com

I’m not expecting that until next October.

It would be great if NOES set is released by then but that’s definitely not the case because it would have been announced by now. Plus they usually reserve high profile releases like these for the Fall.

Why? NOES doesn't take place during Halloween. There's no reason to hold it until October. It can be released at any month.

The Halloween set was released in September, the Friday the 13th set October. Traditionally these are the two big months for horror releases, so I would expect any potential SF NOES set to follow suit.

Yeah, as others have said, no way is this coming out nearly next year. If it even happens (and I think there is a decent chance it will) it will probably be around this time next year.

They released it in October because the next Friday the 13th is on November 13th. It gives people plenty of time to get their sets in time. And the Halloween collection was released around the same time because... Well, it's Halloween lol.

NOES doesn't have any specific dates that matter. They can literally release it at any time of the year. Doesn't just have to be October.

Yep, I dug into this a little deeper and made a few adjustments on my UHD player, which seemed to solve the issue (MS set to 130). I'll keep my fingers crossed that I nipped it in the bud.

What? Why not release it in November if that's the reasoning?
