I picked up the OOP DVD's earlier this year after talking about them here as well. They don't compare to the first two films but they also aren't nearly as bad as what they could be. After watching several of the VERY disappointing Shudder releases as of late, these later Pumpkinhead sequels haven't been so bad.

Hope they postpone new Collectors Edition Releases as long as they cannot produce professional shot new bonus materials. I gladly wait for those kind of releases.

For the season I have been catching up on some past Scream releases to enhance the orange and black.

So far I've watched the Hammer Horrors THE PLAGUE OF THE ZOMBIES and THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, both of which I recommend highly. PHANTOM in particular is very underrated and the Scream Blu is so gorgeous it allows plenty of encouragement for ranking it higher than it usually is. Also watched DOCTOR BLOOD'S COFFIN which is not Hammer, but in that vein, if much less nutritious, haha. Also watched Val Lewton/Robert Wise's masterful THE BODY SNATCHER with what is arguably Karloff's greatest performance of all time. A beautiful presentation, but I was disappointed they did not carry over the trailer from the DVD.

Anyway, just a tiny post with my recommendations, for whatever they are worth. If anyone is on the fence for these titles, don't wait to fall off getting them, jump off and get them NOW!

I'll second this. Great Hammer releases. Body Snatcher is a great movie and a great disc. Here's hoping for the other Lewton films next year.

The Body Snatcher (1945) is a great movie.
The Phantom of the Opera (1962) is also a great movie.

Both look beautiful on their repective Shout Factory Blu-rays.

Placed a sale order on the 9th & another on the 10th, no movement on either since.

Really hoping they ship in as few separate packages as possible, I have to use a mail forwarder to ship to Ireland & it’s €15.99 per package.

My first sale order finally went out yesterday, over two weeks after I ordered. Two more to go.

Yeah, I placed a big order which shipped entirely in one box, and I'm waiting on a smaller order (of five titles ) which I placed a day or two later.

Same here. I haven't see Brides in a long time. I'm trying not to watch it on Peacock so I don't ruin the anticipation.

In case anyone is hoping for slips, I ordered My Bloody Valentine and The Craft on day one of the Shocktober sale and both came with a slipcover. I received them yesterday.

I also placed my order on October 9th, and it's just sitting there saying "Order Taken." No response from my inquiry on Twitter about an estimated ship date. I ordered the Collector's Editions of The Blob (1988), Valentine, and Silent Night, Deadly Night. I fell short of the free shipping threshold, but even with the shipping they worked out to about $18 each, which is still a good price.

I ordered The Blob, Death Becomes Her, Fear No Evil and Robocop 2 on the 10th and my order hasn't changed from "Order taken" yet either. I'm just hoping to have my titles by Thanksgiving considering the reports of ridiculously long wait times on previous sales this year.

Yeah, and we're not going to find these titles for any price nearly as good as what they were offering. So, keep the sale price and wait an unknown length of time, or cancel it, pay A LOT more elsewhere, and maybe get them quicker. Makes me almost miss my Prime subscription.
