I would like to know that too. But don't expect Scream Factory to answer the question in this forum. An email needs to be sent directly to them. Even then, don't expect an answer from them. It's worth a shot, but I'm not going to do it. I don't think they appreciate such emails, although they should. We'll find out sooner or later. In the meantime, as a great Hammer film enthusiast, I'm ordering Indicator's Volume Six Looks like there's more extras for Shadow of the Cat. Also Phantom of the Opera, minus the TV cut.

Captain Clegg should have both title cards. They don't say that in their specifications, but they've done that with Taste of Fear aka Scream of Fear and Fanatic aka Die Die My Darling.

It would be nice if Scream Factory releases a 25th Anniversary special edition of Scream (1996), with new interviews and perhaps individual releases of the 3 sequels; and yes, i'm aware that a 5th Scream is coming.

As this year wears on it's going to be very interesting to see where announcements trend. Scream is part of the Miramax library of films. The Miramax library of films was picked up by Paramount last year. Scream Factory made some previously unheard of headway into the Paramount vaults and released a number of films last year and so if that avenue is still viable perhaps as part of another licensing agreement, it is interesting to think that perhaps Scream Factory could get access to this series or others like it from Miramax.

Personally, I can't stand the Scream Franchise and have very little interest in buying the films again however I know that the films certainly have their fans and that a box set would likely do fairly well for them. At a minimum, getting a fully uncut edition of the first film would be nice. Time will tell I suppose and if I remember correctly this next months batch of announcements I believe I remember reading are supposed to be substantial with "big things" coming later this year as well. Scream Factory getting into the Miramax library would be a big deal and in my mind would really only be surpassed by them getting into the Lionsgate library and/or finally announcing the much requested Nightmare on Elm Street Box set.

Scream 5 is coming next year. Paramount will probably release the series themselves.

The new Blu-rays of Lawnmower Man 2 and Adrenalin from RoninFlix actually have Shout Factory labels on them. I guess this means they're up to licensing films to smaller companies for movies that probably wouldn't sell well enough for them. Maybe they'll consider this for some more Corman titles.

They've been doing that for a good while with Scorpion and Code Red.

I thought that was the other way around, like when Scream Factory released Final Exam and Evilspeak.

That's the only such instance of that arrangement I can think of. Code Red licenced the likes of Simon King of the Witches, Slithis and Warlock Moon from Shout, and probably others. And Bill has recently spoken of possibly licencing Corman titles from Shout.

Scorpion have licenced a good number of titles from Shout. Their ITV titles were licenced via Shout (who control the ITV catalogue in the US), as well as numerous TV movies (perhaps in large part from the Westchester Films catalogue).

Oh cool! I hadn't noticed that, despite having some of those titles on my shelf. Thanks for the info!

From Shout (apparently as part of the MST2K universe), I wish some boutique label would lease:

VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS
GIRLS TOWN (1959 Mamie Van Doren trash classic)

Also hoping for UNHOLY ROLLERS from Shout or another boutique label

Didn't the Lionsgate library go to Sony? Would that make a Scream Factory deal possible?

Unholy Rollers is almost certainly no longer with Shout. It has a decent shot of being included in Kino's latest MGM deal (possibly as a Scorpion pick).

Fingers crossed Kino (or someone) releases Brian De Palma's "Carrie" on 4K this year for it's 45th anniversary!

I think that's strictly distribution; I don't get the impression Lionsgate conceded any sort of controlling interest over their catalog.

I watched the new Werewolves on Wheels disc tonight, and noticed that it has a Shout logo on it as well.

Werewolves on Wheels was part of the Castle Hill/Westchester Films catalog Shout purchased in 2017-ish.

Whoever releases Carrie on UHD would need to do a great job to make it worthwhile. This film never really looked great on any format.

The Scream Factory bluray looks beautiful. The movie was intentionally shot with a soft, hazy look.
