The U.S. release isn't "cut," it's the version Craven intended for the American market (don't think he was making a PG-rated comic book flick for kids with topless women running around), and his "intended" version of the film.

If someone overseas wants to release their own Blu-Ray of the international version, they can. I'd check that out too, though the film itself is kind of terrible honestly.
+1. Scream is releasing the American cut of the film to an American audience. Don't get the complaining at all.

Wow, when I first looked at the new Fog cover I thought for sure I would see a bunch of negative comments underneath it. Surprised everyone likes it. I think the top half is pretty good but the "crew" is terrible...the lead guy looks like some rogue pirate from an old spice commerical not the guy from the movie, where are the glowing eyes?

In my opinion, this is the best artwork so far. The Fog looks amazing.

And I'm sure that there are just as many people who want to show the movie to their kids who wouldn't appreciate the discovery of unrated content upon revisiting it on family movie night.

It does not really add anything to the story itself. I am all for boobs, but I mean it is a kids movie based on a comic book character that had had crossovers with Batman, so I personally don't think it matters.

Maybe they will have the cut scene as a bonus feature or something, idk.

The ghosts don't look like they came straight from the movie.

I like the artwork with the exception of the likeness of Jamie Lee Curtis. Something about the top of her head and hair just doesn't look right.

I LOVE IT!! BETTER THAN ANYTHING YET!

Dead Souls
is on the Chiller Channel right now, and if you have Time Warner digital cable it can be started over. in case you want to check it out, and as many have said it sucks...

But Shout has a long standing deal with Chiller to release their made for tv movies. So please don't hold it against Cliff lol.

There's no real depth to her face, and her profile makes her look like a cut-out.

I dont feel the art did the ladies justice, not really capturing them. Its far from a deal breaker. Sometimes the art is good, other times blah. Glad for reversible covers

Yeah, because boobs would absolutely wreck those kids forever. And what kind of demented family is going to subject their kids to Swamp Thing anyway?

My daughter watched the International Cut when I was working in Spain, if she cares to comment on that. She did not get completely messed up, or at least I hope not. But it is a very popular kids movie. It is based on a comic.

Okay, I can care less if the international cut is not included as really, if Wes's preferred is the PG-Rated cut as intended, let it be there; it's his movie.

Give me a break. Parents set standards of what they feel is appropriate for their kids. Some parents wouldn't have a problem with the international cut of swamp thing, just like some parents wouldn't have a problem with the saw movies; some (arguably most) would. Being that swamp thing is a comic book movie, originally targeted towards kids, it shouldn't even be a concern.

Dude, I get what you're saying, but I don't give a rat's ass about some hypothetical kids. The international cut probably would've been rated PG back in '82, anyway. Brief nudity was not that uncommon in PG movies during the early '80s: Beastmaster, Clash of the Titans, Sheena, etc (and imagine that, they're all kids movies!).

Who was naked in Clash of the Titans? The stop-motion animated Medusa?
