Paramount have a 49% stake in Miramax. beIN Media Group own 51% and they most likely have more say on sub-licensing Miramax titles than Paramount.

I'm not sure if this was mentioned previously and I just missed it, or if it was a recent addition, but Scream Factory added another indie release for July, though this one doesn't appear to be from IFC Midnight. Coming July 6th.

I did my own Scream Factory wishlist. These are the titles that I want to see them pick up.

Edit: I forgot to add Carnosaur (1993)

I think Dr. Giggles has the best chance out of all of those.

The Hitcher still burns. Was extremely excited we were getting a US release after Erik Red teased us, but nope! Just another international release. I'm sure he was aware that most of the people that bug him about the film are in the US and that there are already Japanese and German releases. Man, thinking about that day still burns.

Wish Scream Factory could get the When A Stranger Calls (2006) version. And the original too if need be. I have the Second Sight boxset of the 1979 original and 1994 sequel.

I actually don't mind the Mill Creek blu for the original. Not sure I'd double dip for a Scream reissue.

That box set is incredible (and region-free). I had seen the original short, The Sitter, before, but nowhere near that good, in terms of video and audio quality.

I would love for Scream to get these, especially part 3 if they allow the 3DFA to the 3-D Restoration.

THE KEEP is at the top of my list but I have serious doubts it will ever happen, but for now the Australian region free DVD is by far the best version of the film released on Home Video!

From what the KLI has said, Michael Mann has permanently scared away the Boutiques from even attempting to do The Keep.

Contacted Scream and they said we won't hear about the September titles until July. So it sounds like they are announcing titles two months in advance versus three now.

Looking forward to their announcements more than any other label thanks to the new Warner deal.

I know last year they declined to do a virtual SDCC event, but perhaps this year they could, and include the big October titles in the reveals? Obviously they haven't been able to do this before but with the change in announcement schedule it would be possible now.

This might be for the best with the production issues they've been having lately...

Yeah, as long as there are virtual panels happening, that would be great. Would love to see what they have in store for the next few months.

Yeah that`s what I thought given that we just got the August releases a week ago.

Ghost in the Machine and Lost Souls are my biggest wants. Lost Souls has a bad rep, but I really enjoy it. I love the dark and gritty atmosphere that the film has.
