I pretty much only learn of new titles because of dawn of the discs and the forums here. The social media pages for pretty much all these labels are always so slow with announcements and they just get buried in my feeds.

Same here, and that's even if they show up in my feeds to begin with. Half the time I have to go looking for the articles on people pages to begin with. As others have mentioned a monthly email announcement on a semi-firm recurring basis would be awesome. Heck half the reason I started frequently blu-ray.com so much back in the day was to see what Shout was announcing/releasing.

Like most people have already said, a solid suggestion is Shout/Scream having a set announcement day a month. Arrow and VS seem to get good buzz from their announcements. Most people know when they are announcing and look forward to them. With Shout/Scream, I honestly have no idea when their next announcement is going to be.

They finalize and begin printing art before they finalize disc specs. These are most likely already finished printing and waiting for pressed discs and cases.

......I just hope they fix the mono track on John Carpenter's Halloween. It will bug me on a collector level if they don't release a Limited Box like the other Carpenter releases.

Scream was the reason for its inclusion on the box set to begin with, so they know it’s wanted among the fans.

Do they realize that their official announcement will be anticipated for any special features (new or legacy) being included? Not all of the thunder is taken from the announcements.

What did he say that's so funny? All Dawn of the Discs has to do to wait until an official announcement is made. Look, most of us will buy these but let them control their announcements. I like DotD but they sometimes steal hype away from fun surprises from SF, Severin, and especially VS.

Are disc specs finalized already then? I had no idea they began printing that early on.
