And Halloween 3 I don't even rate in the series because it's just a different film. On its own it's a wacky fun film, and I hold it pretty high for what it is.

I am in the same boat. I think 3 is a great horror movie with a fantastic story....But it just doesn't belong in the franchise. It's unfortunate that they cashed in on the name back then, but that can't be changed now. It's not quite along the lines of F13 part 5, as the character was alluded too, which was not present in H3. I will always think of it as the 1st cousin to the series.

Not a thing. It might be delayed due to that recent AMZ sale. A lot of people dropped a lot of $ on that recent AMZ sale. That recent AMZ was great and will be pretty hard to beat. I was able to get Eyes OF A Stranger for $16 and change.

Agree. This and Prince of Darkness are really underrated Carpenter soundtracks. Heck, i'd go even further and say the soundtracks for both of these are the reasons they are so rewatchable.

Music is so important to films. When a film's soundtrack complements the film well, it's a true pleasure. I can't imagine Halloween III without that soundtrack. Heck, I'd probably hate the film as much as some folks here without it

Speaking of soundtracks, the haunting Melody of Body Heat is one of the best soundtracks of all time imo.
