Not to imply that any 50s movie will be a release as big as they are suggesting (even if it was a film considered lost). Many younger people have an aversion toward black and white movies.
I'm one of those crazy cats who wants the Nightmare movies AND some more Hammer AND some more 50's Sci-fi.

I find 50's sci-fi dreadfully dull though don't mind Hammer or early Universal releases. That said all I've ever asked for is a nice variety of announcements and so as long as we can get 1 or 2 80's slashers/rubber puppet creature features along with a smattering other other titles from other era's I'm generally happy. Months that were heavy on Hammer or early Universal were always disappointing for me personally in the past but considering we are now at a point where announcements are flowing the way they used to, I'm happy whenever we get a full announcement slated month.

Maybe a special edition of Ghost Story (1981) someday, featuring the surviving cast members interviewed.

I know that it is probably far fetched and wishful thinking, but maybe Curse Of The Black Widow.

Scream already released Ghost Story with a decent slate of interviews.

Speaking of Hammer titles, I definitely want more of them from Scream Factory and I REALLY hope they’ll be releasing The Anniversary and The Nanny. Those are way overdue.

I just thought of something that SF might do unexpectedly regarding the upcoming Halloween 4K titles. Since it's confirmed that more special features are being announced later on for each titles, what about any other physical items for each disc? For example, Neca products?

Reading the latests posts and I see there’s a lot of hot takes going on. Halloween III a bad movie? Tom Atkins not leading man material? Halloween 4 sucks? Whaaaat?!! Excuse you? I beg your pardon, but all 3 are awesome and no one will convince me otherwise.

I personally like Halloween 3 more than 4-8. A pretty fun film overall.

I think that's a Dan Curtis production, so it would probably do well.

I believe both are with Fox/Disney, so chances are very slim now for any upgrades. I'd love both, especially "The Nanny".

The Nanny is one of the few Hammers (1955 and on, that is- not as familiar with the early days) I haven't seen, so I don't wanna overhype it for myself, but I've heard great things. I passed on an Ebay listing of the Australian edition that was like 8 bucks and have been kicking myself ever since, so an SF of that would be great...

For some reason, growing up just south of L.A. in the 60's, The Nanny was on Tv a lot. My little sister and I would watch it every time it was on and my mom would always say "You should not be watching this" but we would protest so much she would leave it on. It is extremely disturbing, twisted and sick. I don't think it has lost any of its punch. I was about the same age as the boy in the film so it really had an effect on me. This and Whatever Happened To Baby Jane made me a Bette Davis fan for life. I would love to get rid of my The Anniversary dvd as well...

Ya, as a lifelong Hammer fan, of all the gothic horrors and monsters, the prehistoric ones, and even the lesser-known thrillers like Paranoic and Nightmare, I have to say "THE NANNY" stands way out beyond most Hammer films. It will appeal to fans that aren't into Hammer at all. It's a unique, very real, modern-time (at that time), psychological thriller. I would even say Hitchcock would have been MORE than proud to have directed it, and it's even better than many of his.

Saw it first as a kid on tv, the commercial came on with clips saying it was playing that night, and my dad was there and played around with me as to what the film was about, and he had seen it and was just playing with me "what happened in the bathroom?"..... and he wanted me to watch it that night and did! It was great!!! This was most likely very late 60's or 1970.

TLDR: The Nanny - is a great film, Hammer or not!

Halloween III will be first up for me when these 4Ks drop, followed by 4 and 5.
My rankings:

Halloween
Halloween 4
Halloween 5
Halloween II
Halloween 6 Producer's Cut
Halloween H20 (not a bad movie at all)
Halloween Resurrection.

I didn't rank Halloween III because, to me, it's a standalone film, but if I were to rank it, it would go after Halloween 5 and before Halloween II

I always thought that THE NANNY would have been a natural for Twilight Time to release, especially after they released HUSH...HUSH, SWEET CHARLOTTE.
