If they're not announcing titles, what's the purpose of their presence on Comic Con?

I know better than to get my hopes up for my most wanted, Black Christmas (2006).

I seriously doubt the Nightmare on Elm Street collection is happening this year. I think we would have heard something by now.

4K UltraHDs of Halloween 6, H20, and Resurrection would be sweet, but if that happens, it will probably be much later.

Yes, I think you should be able to watch pretty much every panel at the Comicon Youtube channel.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news ... but I asked them if they would be announcing upcoming titles at sdcc... they said not in the cards this year... ... although... they supposedly have something special planned for October... that could mean a few things... either way October should be eppicc...

I think the ANOES set if it is even coming will be a next year release. No way they're doing it for October. Adjust expectations fans. It's ok. IF they're doing it all,give them time to do a great job.

Seeing so many others wishing for Black X-Mas (06) warms my heart. I would love a collector's edition of that one. But I'd settle for a standard release at this point.

They've mentioned in the past that some of their more obscure releases haven't sold particularly well so I don't expect them to make much of an effort to seek some of these out. The good news is we have Vinegar Syndrome and a bunch of others covering the obscure part of the market for us. I think Shout wants to stick mostly to "safer" stuff.

On that note, has Shout ever released a list of their all-time top selling Scream titles? I remember Kino gave a list a couple years ago, but I've never seen anything from Scream, and I've always been curious.

i couldn’t find where I’d read it, whether it was speculation or not, but I thought the general consensus was that Hunter’s Blood was with Warner which is why it’s requested a lot here? looking it up, it seems like it should either be with the Corman library though Concorde or Lionsgate somehow, it kinda seems like it’s fallen into the same pit of “I dunno” where Summer Camp Nightmare lies.

if Warner did have hunters blood and the materials to make an HD scan, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it if they’re picking up things like The Borrower as well.
