I’d like to ask what everyone’s interpretation of the Halloween 4k “limited vinyl with slipcase” from the SF website. Is it just the colored splatter 7” vinyl limited to 4000, then they release a basic black vinyl? or is it the entire 7” vinyl and slipcase limited to 4000 total? Curious.

To me, it seems that the vinyl colorway is limited to 4,000. Sacred Bones is also selling their own colorway but in the same slipcase — so slipcase is not limited to 4,000 (image below). Also, when they say slipcase, I think they mean the box that houses the vinyl and 4k/Blu-Ray.

Also, just noticed that Scream has pushed all the 4k Halloweens to October 5th.

Also, I don't think they're pressing a black vinyl version after the 4,000 sell out.
They haven't done that (so far) with the previous 7"/Blu bundles of They Live and Prince of Darkness (which haven't sold out on Shout's website, but have sold out on Sacred Bones' site).

I’m looking forward to spinning this 7” vinyl, and then playing the entire soundtrack on compact disc 💿 this Halloween. Haha.

Wow, the Halloween III set has already sold out! Wasn't expecting that. I'd been dragging my feet on these, but I do really want those black slipcases (I don't care about the posters). Looks like the Halloween III set, and the H1-5 bundle sets are all sold out now. I popped over to John Carpenter's site at Sacred Bones Bandcamp page and went ahead and ordered the HIII set. The vinyl is a different colorway, but I don't really care, I mainly just want that shiny box!

Went ahead and order H1 & 2 from SF while they're still available. I'll grab 4 & 5 whenever they come out, not worried about those since they don't have the limited box thingie.

Off topic, would Amazon ever match or beat the Criterion sale at B&N? So I can get some of their bigger stuff (Godzilla, the Bergman set, etc) as cheap as possible without the spider wraps?

Yes, but Amazon has been going out of stock on a lot of titles more and more as of late. My 'Tie Me Up, Tie me Down' and 'Rebecca' still hasn't been shipped after being ordered a few months ago.

I know this is really odd but just wanted to let you guys know I'm battling covid and am in the hospital currently and so if anything juicy breaks I'll get the post updated as soon as I can.

I've been ill for 2 weeks now but things took a downturn this week. I'm hoping to be home and doing better by Monday if things keep going better. Not looking for sympathy just wanted to pop in as I miss talking with everyone.
