Can someone tell me if there is some way to get the Shout Factory discs to resume play once the player has been turned off and back on again? Shout Factory discs seem to be the only once that don't resume play on my player. Is there a specific player that these will work on or any way around this? I'm unable to find an answer or discussion about this anywhere? Any info would help. I appreciate it.

I've yet to encounter a single Shout disc that has Resume play. Super annoying since I'm staggering my viewings over more than one night in most cases and have to start from scratch.

David Lynch authors Shout BD's.

Most boutique labels don't have that feature. From Arrow to Severin. The only boutique label that I know that has that option off the top of my head is Criterion.

It's usually the major studio releases that have the resume play once you take the disc out and put it back in.

It's not even a matter of removing the disc from the player. It's basically just hitting stop and then play again. Shout/Scream discs are the only ones that do not resume play when doing this.

Oh, yeah that sucks if you simply press stop and press play and it starts all over. I thought you were talking about when you remove the disc and put it back in. Yeah, not sure why Scream doesn't have that fixed.

It's so irritating, especially since you can't skip the 30-40 seconds of logos at the top of the disc. I've so idiotically accidentally turned on things or walked away for a hair too long on pause and have had to find where I was too many times.

Give 'em time they need to hack off two legs to match your order.

Cut off three more and you could make the Milton Berle biopic "The Man With Three Legs".

I ordered Dead Space shortly after the Shocktober sale ended and...yeah, that's taking its sweet ass time to ship too.

It's hard to imagine what kind of releases await us from Scream Factory. The end is near

The Pack, The Terminal Man, Dr. Giggles, Grotesque, Bless the Child? The Fog, The Howling 4K UHD.

Nightmare on Elm Street CE (singles, set), The Lost Boys CE, Interview with the Vampire, My Best Friend is a Vampire, and as you mentioned there's a host of their older releases that they could bring us in 4K. There's a bunch I missed that I don't want to pay ludicrous money for so I'd buy these 4K rereleases in a heartbeat, like Lord of Illusions among others. As long as we keep buying them they will keep releasing, so I hardly thing "the end is near"...

Oh and I know nothing about which labels have rights to which studios, those I listed were just some films I hope to see on Scream. For all I know they don't work with WB any longer...
