Don't they have deals with Warner, Universal, Paramount, MGM, Sony, Fox? Soo much they could release .. new to bluray and rereleases... they won't be done for sometime to come...

Hey it's not all doom and gloom...December is looking good with Trog from WB, Lady in a Cage and No Way To Treat A Lady from Paramount plus the re-release of The Vampire Lovers from MGM. Who knows what other goodies are waiting in the wings for the coming year?

I wouldn't mind re-releases of some titles in 4K, in fact I really want to see 4K releases/transfers of Night of the Comet and Dead Ringers in particular.

I don't see the line ending any time soon. 4K UHD rights are starting to get licensed to Arrow, Criterion, and Kino, I don't see SF turning down the opportunity.

Can’t believe I still don’t have Night Of the Comet, but at the point where I have a feeling things will come 4K sooner than later.

Scream typically does one in Summer and October, Shout Select has one earlier in the year, and the Target/Amazon B2G1 sales usually have SF titles (which happen in November and February). Keep an eye tomorrow, Amazon might drop some between then and next Saturday. Shout sales usually aren't that good. However in less than a year the Scream Factory imprint turns 10 years old, so they might schedule a good sale then, but there is no guarantee.

Thanks. I was hoping SF would do a big BF sale but not looking like it. Yeah I used to stock up on Target's B2G1 sale but Shout/Scream titles are disappearing there - much like other labels.

Yeah I noticed this month's B2G1 was fairly indie label light.

No guarantee but most likely February will be the next big direct sale. "Love is in the Scare" has become a pretty regular sale for them. Whether it will be any good or not remains to be seen, but I feel confident enough to say that I'd put money down on the next sale starting February 7th.

Oh I totally agree. Scream has been consistently keeping me happy with release after release that I was asking for! I'm very happy with Shout!. That's why I was suggesting that Scream are far from done releasing good films...

That was incorrect, it's on my part. I submitted a request to remove the release date from the database. It won't be out for at least a few months.
