It looks like these copyright lists have been updated, and now I'm not so sure if either version was included in the sale. I'm also not seeing Sorority House Massacre II or Hard to Die, so those may be titles they genuinely don't own.

Looking back at the original press release, the announcement was "270 Roger Corman films and an action sci-fi TV series". It looks like Black Scorpion was the action sci-fi TV series, in question, and I am seeing roughly 270 films listed, in addition, so I suspect this really is the full list of titles that was acquired from Corman in 2018.

Ya, that's great info. Shout somewhere did legit say they didn't have Sorority House 2 or Hard to Die a long time ago somewhere. I know for a fact they didn't get the ENTIRE Corman library, but when I mentioned that a year or so ago on here, the usual trolls said stuff like, "you're an idiot that doesn't know anything" or this is "the stupidest thing ever mentioned". Haha, pie in their face. Shout did not ACQUIRE the ENTIRE Corman library, that's a fact, regardless of how some of the press spinned it. Insiders that I know, know this as well. It's not a huge secret. I have no idea where all the other titles are or will end up, but we shall see, I guess... I would love every Corman title out there again, even all those pretty lousy 90's New Horizons erotic thrillers.

Nice to see that film library purchase and ambitious plans have so far resulted in...drumroll...select steelbook reissues (now few and far between and nearly non-existent) and once-in-a-blu-moon Shout exclusive re-releases. Cool.

The search for Sorority House Massacre 2 and Hard to Die rights continues I guess. Give me some Naked Obsession with William Katt, Rick Dean and Maria Ford in the meantime. Never on disc I believe.

Scream has already started 2022 with some epic titles. You know what would pretty much make it perfect for me? A Simple Plan on Blu-ray. Would be perfect if they tied that in with The Gift for May for some Sam Raimi since that's when his next film comes out.

Well it's been about 2 and a half week since the March line-up was revealed, so I'm guessing it'll be at least another week, probably longer.

also, glad the paramount titles keep coming. Paramount still has a ton of titles that need to be released and glad shout can work with them. Now, hopefully we get a simple plan and black sunday soon. Those are long overdue for us releases. (among many)

So it looks like Warner is giving the negative of the Hitcher to Second Sight in the UK for a 4K restoration. After, the 4K restoration will be given back to Warner.

I wonder if Scream could make a deal with Warner for this, as I don't know if Warner would release a 4K of it in the US. Either way, hopefully we get the Hitcher in the US.

*Peeping Tom still needs a US release but it is available internationally.

I made the heartbreaking decision yesterday to finally "decommission" my Halloween Collection Blu-ray set (weird talking about Halloween in January). Loved the box but most of the contents were pretty much overridden by the recent 4Ks of I thru 5. I don't have high hopes of the rest of the films in the series getting the same kind of treatment but, frankly, I don't need them to. Well, maybe Curse. Got the box tucked away in a closet for now but I think, eventually, gonna have to let it go

I don't even want to think of the Friday the 13th films getting deluxe 4K treatment Upgrade or not? We all know it'll happen eventually.
