Are there any chances of Scream Factory releasing MEET THE APPLEGATES (1990). I believe this film has not received any dvd/blu ray release at all.

I just watched an old VHS copy of this last thanksgiving! I'd definitely pick that up, although to me it feels more of a 'Vinegar Syndrome' or 'Code Red' release than 'Shout!'

Yea if you have Amazon Prime, they'll do stuff like that from time to time. Underneath the price it'll have a coupon for X amount off and you just check the box and when you check out it adds the discount. It just so happened to have an $8 off coupon for this.

Think I may end up getting Shout's Collector's Edition Blu-ray of Trick 'r Treat (did it ever get a UK Blu-ray release?). From what I've seen of it, they certainly got it right with the look of the Halloween season.

It's a post-Corman New World production, but I think Lionsgate controls the rights. Either way, Shout! Factory is not the likeliest candidate to license and release the film.

I've been buying Scream factory movies for awhile. But they haven't really come out with anything great lately. They've released nearly all of John Carpenter's entire filmography.
The last thing I bought was the Halloween 1-5 4K box set. |

Probably not. As Dr. West said, they're only a few dollars more than a normal collector's edition release. Heck, they cost just as much as some other Collector's Editions do.

Plus they already have a Blu-ray copy of the film. They might feel it redundant to have a Blu only sku.

I wish Scream Factory would release 1967's THEATRE OF DEATH. The only other release it's had is a 2001 DVD from Anchor Bay.

I'm seeing a lot of eBay listings for the TerrorVision / The Video Dead double Blu-ray release. Is it going OOP soon or is there a new release elsewhere?

Probably not for every title. For these two, they knew they'd be big sellers since they haven't been available since DVD, so I would guess they thought they'd might as well go all out. It also depends on who they are licensing from. They've yet to release a 4K from the Paramount or WB catalogs, but have from that of MGM and Universal. It depends case by case.
