I hope not, but who knows, they could have been copies returned by others before me. Obviously the packers don't care.

I would have kept the first one if it just had the banged in corners, but the rattling inside was the deal breaker.

I'm with you, but at this point I'm thinking this will be more normal than not. I can't imagine there are that many more new to Blu-ray films that will rock out the numbers of films like Candyman. I remember when I first got my 4k setup I thought “well at least i won’t need to rebuy all of my boutiques titles since they probably won’t get into them” and now look at us. boy was I wrong

How has Deadly Friend not dropped in price yet?

Anyway finally ordered it on Amazon with their $15 off $25 app coupon bringing it down to $13 shipped.

Praying I get a slipcover and it isn't damaged.

People are assuming Candyman 4K and the Happy Death Day films are all we're getting for April - is there a basis for this to be considered solid? Is it because nothing else has leaked?

Possibly. It just seems like why would they let the 4K releases out of the bag (and one collector's edition) but not the other releases? I would guess people would be going crazy for the UHD releases over anything else.

Those 3 (along with a CE of Night Creatures/Captain Clegg) were listed via the US distributor. We await the official announcement (hopefully today) but I'm expecting this to be our lot for April.
