As suspected, no Candyman (1992) UHD announced.

The number of leaked Shout releases that still haven't been announced keeps growing. Just what on earth is up with Cool World and Trekkies?

Plus Jennifer 8. And also The Place Promised In Our Early Days, which leaked out a month or two ago, and was just posted on Amazon, and importCD's along with these other April titles. Maybe that one is still coming.

Nope they don't deliver directly to the UK. But at least their titles are available on amazon and deepdiscount/wowhd, the other alternative is using a reshipper.

My thoughts exactly, they're good movies, but they don't scream $70 double-dip from an already pretty good blu-ray.

However I will definitely be picking up Night Creatures and Cursed (I'd love the mystical Craven cut to be included, but even the theatrical cut has a soft spot with me).

For the upcoming Night Creatures aka Captain Clegg, presently on the Shout Factory link, they have a "?" under 2.00:1 aspect ratio —

Let's hope that incorrect 2.00:1 goes away, as that film should (most likely) be 1.75:1 (and I know some will say 1.66, and, while that would be okay, very few UK films were composed for 1.66 by 1962).

Also, as to the cast in the film, I was surprised to see Michael Ripper credited with Quatermass and the Pit, as he is not in the 1967 released feature film, but, I did check and he is in the 1958-59 British TV mini-series. Still, I'm surprised that they did not list a feature film (such as Quatermass II): A small thing I admit, but it confused me when I saw it.

The "?" is just how they list every aspect ratio listing on their site, because it's linked to a popup bubble that describes what aspect ratio is. I think Universal's release was also 2.00:1, so I'm afraid it may be the same with this SF one too. Some of the other Universal titles were presented in the right AR with the SF disc, so yeah, let's hope that does change.

They confirmed on their FB that the Happy Death Day 4Ks won't have slipcovers. My Uni BDs have such lovely embossed slips.
I liked both films, and probably would have bought them on 4K if they were offered at the time of release. Double-dipping on these recent studio films is a harder choice, especially when 4K doesn't do much for me. I don't think I would have bothered with Krampus if it wasn't for the naughty cut.

I believe that's for the Rated/Unrated cuts of the film. The one everyone wants is the "Craven Cut" and as far as I know, no one know how long that one would be. At this point it's unknown if that cut will appear in any form on this release but it would appear that signs are pointing toward probably not as that would have been a noteworthy bit of info to include with the initial announcement.

Just to manage expectations: that doesn’t necessarily mean the Craven rough cut. There is the theatrical cut PG-13 cut and the DVD’s unrated cut. Wikipedia lists the runtimes of those cuts as 97 and 99 minutes.

“No Craven cut.”

And there goes any interest I had in this release.

Eh, I'm still interested in it. The original cut for Deadly Fiend is lost too, and while that's a less extreme example of a studio hackjob I didn't see a need to reject that particular release for that reason. Maybe you'll be lucky and it'll surface one day... but that might be quite some time.

So far Scream has given me the best first four months out of any label this year. Killing it for me at least.

Totally excited for Night Creatures/Captain Clegg!

I love Happy Death Day and really like HDD2. I have Rob Mello's autograph on the first. I might double dip though, especially since Jessica Rothe is on the new commentary.

Cursed is a wait and see, although it's about time to get this out on a SF Blu.

At the very least, this should open up the possibility of seeing Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, H20, and Resurrection on UHD in time for Halloween Ends this year.
