I already did my part with the F13 set.

And to tell you the truth, the fact that, aside from the first film, the movies are all on double feature discs is another big reason why I've held off on picking up the current NOES blu set.

I just want the Elm Street films on individual discs with as much archival material as possible. Doesn't have to be a boxed set, doesn't have to be 4K, they just have to be good and definitive. But I really don't know what to expect anymore.

Arrow style LE's would be the next best thing to a full boxset release (better in some aspects).

If Arrow got their hands on the franchise I'd be happy with even just a box set of the first three if they did something like they did with their Hellraiser: The Scarlett Box.

Honestly I don’t care who puts them out. I would just love new scans of 2-6 of NOES with new commentaries.

If all you want are fresh scans then I would care if I were you. We're likelier to get new scans if they license these out. If Warner were to re-release a new set they will probably recycle the existing scans. A boutique is our best bet since they have more incentive to commission new scans. Then again, Warner may not let Shout create new scans

If that were the case, at least Shout would put together a cool-looking set and not some generic thing you'd likely find at a Dollar store.

Wrong. They outsource packing and shipping. Customer Service is a corporate responsibility and is not something companies should skimp on.

Perhaps they put it back to May as they were aligning their release with Arrow?

So I also watched Alligator II: The Mutation last night, as a double bill with Alligator 4K. I've never seen this before, knew little if anything, and I was absolutely marking out over the cast! There's Dee Wallace! And Kane Hodder! And Steve Railsback! And Richard Lynch! And that French guy from Lionheart!

The cast is really fun, the movie is only ok. It's not bad but misses any highs of the first film. The title creature is barely in it. Still, PQ looked amazing and a nice selection of extras, although no interviews with Dee or Railsback. I'm sure they tried.

Also, as a side note...I'm surprised Alligator 4K wasn't in that sturdy slip box case like Halloween 4Ks and Elvira's Haunted Hills were, considering this was a big release for SF.
