Seeing as A24 distributed that and Lionsgate released the Blu, I could see that one being a bit more difficult to release.

Well this came out of nowhere. And that was the fastest I clicked to purchase a pre-order. Grabbed the bundle with everything.

I registered on this forum 5 years ago just to ask what people thought the chances of 2 and 3 getting a CE were. (Subsequently learned that question/discussion is pretty routine)

Anyway, no announcement will match the sheer excitement of these finally get released. And in 4K with original art no less.

Now just hoping QC is up to snuff.

I wish they would inform us if the slips will be like the Halloween 4Ks/Elvira rigid slips. If so, those bonus slips are an immediate pick up for me.

If they are just the standard flimsy slips, I'll just pre-order on Amazon.

Preordered the Child's Play bundle. That's 100+ dollars I wasn't expecting to spend today, but I'm one of those whose been clamoring for collector's editions of the sequels for years!!

I regretted not picking up the original CE of Child's Play, so glad this came around. Threw down for the bundle with 1-3, the 2 slips, and the 5 posters. Went ahead and pre-ordered The Funhouse 4k with poster as well.

Dr. Giggles would be great, and since I picked up a standalone German release not too long ago, it wouldn't surprise me, lol.

I don't think so. The mockup artwork looks they are the standard slips, as they've been for the 4K announcement the past several months.

Darn. Oh well, still stoked these are getting upgraded. As a user mentioned earlier, UHD is great and all but even more exciting is that they're getting new scans!

I agree. As things stand I'm pre-ordered on Amazon, but if they were to confirm that they were Halloween style chipboard boxes instead I'd cancel those pre-orders and pay for the slip/poster bundle directly.

The bundles are still available so it may have been how they allocated the units to each SKU.
